Ive just encountered an annoying little bug. It happens in the Turbo Cup and only on the Grand Prix (Rev) track, basically the controls are kinda reversed. Very challenging yet very annoying. Hopefully this bug wasn't overlooked when you submitted the patch.
Wait, what? Do you mean the screen orientation? Seems an odd thing to change, as is the volume buttons are at the top and if you have a Smart Cover it can be folded up and used to prop the iPad up - perfect. But flipped there'd be less access to the volume controls and weird cover placement. Might just be an OCD thing for me, I play all my games in this orientation...nothing that's going to ruin the game, I just don't understand why. Glad to hear there will be a toggle eventually.
We've had substantial feedback where the preference was for the other orientation, but fear not, we'll have a toggle in the next update!
Any chance of the same option for the iPhone/iPod version? I play more demanding games with the device connected to my MacBook, and the USB ports are on the left so the cable comes from that side.
Great cause i have a yoobao case around my ipad2 and now it always slips out when playing mini motor racing @tesep: got the same bug on turbo cup grand prix race! I just changed controls for this 1 race and changed back to wheel after. Other 2 control types were not "inverted" on turbo cup.
Wow, after finishing Fruit Ninja Cup 1/3, I can say that the AI is extremely aggressive! It's not hard to compete against them once you've gone pass them, but damn it's hard when they knock you out so often at the start of the race!
How do you unlock the last championship cup (the one after the end credits)? They wont unlock for me and i have gold on all races Anybody know??
Ah. Nice to know. I bought it yesterday. I'm really starting to enjoy MMR a lot more the RR. Can't wait till Online Multiplayer.
I actually wasn't going to get this one after seeing that there was online local multiplayer, but I'm glad I changed my mind. I'm thinking we'll probably be seeing online multiplayer in the future anyways. More than anything, this game feels like what Drawrace 2 would be if you actually drove the car instead of just drawing that path. There's a ton of variety here for the tracks. That's probably the winning point of the game. Many tracks have a elevation shifts and material of road shifts. The turns are perfectly suited for drifting, and of course, the later maps demand skill. Also, the game looks terrific. Tons of detail everywhere. You earn more cars as you play further, which can all be graded in the usual categories. As you play on, you might have to replay a few levels to earn more money for upgrades/a new car. Your opponents are often aggressive during the race. You can pick up nitro along the course, which appears randomly. There's no rubber-banding in the game, meaning you're going to need a fast car and skill. There's a variety of control methods, but the wheel option is probably as good as it gets. The wheel moves freely 360 degrees, and the car will move in the direction the wheel is being pointed towards. It's really more of a analog than anything, but you have to hold down the gas to make it go in that direction. Like I said, it's perfect for a top-down racer like this. There's really not much else to say. The races are fun and get very challenging, there's a bunch of cars/maps to unlock and upgrade, and there's local multiplayer if you have someone to play it with. Looking forward to online multiplayer in the future. Highly recommended.
How is it that we have devices with the same specs but yours will play all these games and they just crash on mine? Can't even get to the 2nd race with this one. I'm not jailbroken, either. And no, I don't really expect you to know the answer to this question by the way...
Did you restart your device? Clear out your multitask? Many users in both this and the Epoch threads have 4th gen. iPods as well.
