Just got it and dropped it into my 5th generation iPod Touch. The game IS AWESOME. It's like Terraria and Metroid had a baby, but it plays much simpler than the usual advanced mechanics of an open world crafting platformer. Going to continue playing to see how it pans out.
if you die, you will lose your unrefined gems and ores and get transported back to the surface. Try to keep your fuel up by looking for creatures to shoot in the mines.
This is simply magnificent. Great atmosphere, great exploration, plenty of upgrades to work towards and lots of mystery revolving around the storyline. I'm impressed.
The last 2 games I purchased from CMG, Shadow Blade and Mines of Mars are missing GC. I don't really care about leaderboards in these type of games, but yes achievements would be nice. Good times though.
How good is the story? I need a good story In the games I play. That's the only thing stopping me from buying this!!
This game feels like the "I Dig it" series meets 3ds's "Steamworld Dig" with a crafting system tossed in for good measure. And I'm not complaining one bit
Feels like a great long game with the mining mechanic and discovery. The tutorial honestly was a bit hard to follow. For instance I thought tapping the side screen was to shoot but you have to drag the side and it auto shoots. Also oddly the "pick up call button" is on the left HOWEVER when you're speaking to the person, the hang up is on the left. This made me reject a bunch of calls because they were reversed. Also I wish you could speed up the opening of the inventory. It feels like the game freezes everytime you click it. The game pauses.. wait 1-2 seconds ... inventory opens. Additionally, it would help if the inventory close button is on the top left instead of the bottom right as the button is hidden when you open the journal if I just want to close it after looking through the journal. Anyhow, great game! Edit: I think the first robot has a glitch. He's supposed to tell me where a monster is but says "there's a <species> at <depth> feet!"
The first hour was really wonderful, it's easier for me to play this compared to "out there", even if this one isn't localized in french, because this one is less agressiv. I don't feel like if an axe was upon my head all the time. I like a lot "out there", but the three first times i was stucked, because i was out of fuel, unable to reach another star, and out of iron. It's probably the way the game has to be played, but here i can take my time without being stressed. Anyway, i like both games a lot, i think there are both great games, and i'll play them a lot. These two ones and bug heroes 2, and it's enough for a long long time. Please stop developping games during one month or two.
I'm no doubt going to buy this, just have one question. Can progress be transferred with iCloud between devices? I'd like to play on the iPhone while I'm out and then on the iPad mini when I'm at home. Thanks.
