So sorry this is happening. The last update is supposed to make so new save files do not get corrupted but we have reports of it still happening.

We are testing some save file regenerators that are designed to salvage your corrupted save files as best as it can. The next step will be to keep redundant saves such that there is always a good copy.

Sorry for the trouble, we expect to submit an update by the weekend. :)

Cool, good to know! Good to see you're actively supporting the game.... it's one of the best I've played on iphone and one I was consistently coming back to, great job

Yeah, haha. While certainly not the best, and only decent, it certainly did work out for me. I never even died once with those two weapons.

Edit: Huh. Never thought you could get weapons from the Offering Pit. But dayum... dat gun.

Hmm. Neither are games I can really recommend, having played both. I find Out There tremendously dull as it's pretty much dependant entirely on luck and nothing else. And this is just I Dig It re skinned, and certainly nothing like Metroid.

I'd get something else or save your money this week.

Both. Out There is an incredible rogue-like about taking decisions, strategy and survival in space against the elements. Mines of Mars is a unique take on the Minecraft (but without the craft part) with a good story and cool metroidvania elements. Both premium without IAP. Both excellent. Out There is on the lead for me if there has to be only one though...

Since I "finished" the main game, I went to the Offering Pit and played around with it.

    Pretty fast I collected
all the artefacts as well as the special pickaxe
    .

When I go to the museum now,
I see all the artefacts with the exception of the one next to the pickaxe.
I suppose this must be the laser-weapon?

But as many offerings as I made, I only got either nothing or
a couple of ingots and gems
    .

Strange, since the other stuff happened pretty fast?
Is there a special combination for the last one?

I really would like to complete everything as much as possible ...

If anyone has an android build, and has a corrupted save file, email [email protected].

The next update is nearly ready to go, and we want to test out the save file fixes.

    Thanks in advance!!

I've played Out There a lot, and it has hooked me much more than this one. I guess it's all about personal preferences because both games are completely different. After playing both, if I had to choose one I'd buy Out There.

Not sure if there is iCloud support.

I haven't played Mines of Mars on my iPhone, as I personally prefer playing most games on the iPad (I use the Mini Retina). It's a pretty relaxed experience as far as enemies. You will spend the majority of your time mining ore, so if you prefer iPhone gaming then it would probably work for you. Keep in mind that navigating tight corridors and using your jet pack fuel efficiently may prove difficult on the smaller iPhone screen. Again, I have not tried the game on the phone so this is just an assumption.

I'm on the fence with buying this. I don't like minecraft but I love metro if and castlevaynia.

It's not much like Metroid, it's more like I Dig It. Most of the time you dig, get minerals and head back to the surface.

Don't get this then, it's nothing like Metroid. Get steamworld dig if you have a device that can play it, it's much, much better than this I Dig It clone.
