Be very careful, try not to take damage from the traps. It's vital you have full health when facing him. They're minions before the boss, kill them for extra health if you loose some. What I do is slowly get close to him, he will than recognize you are there and run for you. At that moment in time, jet to the left. It helps that you have the lava (last) jet. Jet full speed to the left and win to fit in between the two spike blocks. He'll run into them, keep doing that. 3-4 hits from the spikes and he'll die
@senkoujin Thanks! I also found the AppUnwraper guide and indeed is the ending. ENDING RELATED SPOILERS AHEAD: Spoiler If it is like that I really hope for an expansion because as it is is disappointing. The game is so awesome and it ends like that? With a ghost that makes keep going with the exploration that hard? (I found out that activating the gravity boots helps, but still...
I cant fly between those either... Here is what did it for me: Spoiler Fully upgraded the creature doesnt do you enough damage to kill you and he dies first

Nice! Except for that last one Also, I liked floating instead of falling in my ethereal form, but I guess I'm in the minority. Maybe an option to turn it on/off? I liked that getting into small spaces is a lot easier as a ghost.
Wickey, Is the android version coming soon. I'm really looking forward to playing this game. Thanks for the info.
I'm struggling to stay interested in the game, I've been playing for about 6 hours now and have been looking for a third statue for the last three of those. For all the talk of 'Metroidvania' I have to wonder how many have actually played Metroid or Castlevania because this is nothing like those games, this is a variation on 'I Dig It' and not much more than that. To be fair, I love I Dig It, and I enjoy the mining and upgrading loop in Mines Of Mars. But really, there' snot anywhere near enough structure to the gameplay to justify the Metroidvania tag it's earned for some reason.
Same here. I think the "fights" are too far inbetween and they are not as much fun as they could be. The bird-like creatures are annoying as hell in small corridors. Mostly I try to avoid the fights, which is a pity. Top-notch atmosphere though. Hoping for some improvements and/or a sequel with more Metroidvania elments!
What's a good depth to find emeralds and rhodites? I've reached 2400 already and all im getting are rubies, and saphs mainly. Zero rhodites or emeralds.
Every game is different, so can't really tell you exactly where to find them. But I found pockets of them in that range. And it may be a cooncidence, but I always found more materials near (below) dungeons.
That's strange, I found heaps of rhodite at around 1500ft, funnily enough not a single sapphire and only 2 rubies so far and I'm up to 1600ft
