The original Classic was rather small too... I wasn't sure it retained this limitation, but I guess it did. It's still big enough to build something pretty cool, though!
Can someone actually confirm what is/isn't in this version? I know it's creation-only, but I keep hearing people suggesting there might not be things like doors and ladders, but no real clarification.
Thanks, I think I can survive with that. So how does it perform? Stable frame rate? Will it turn my iPod red-hot like other intensive games do?
Because this is not the alpha version, this is the Full Version of Minecraft that got released Last week Friday, the 18th.
I had a crash while trying to create a new world first time, then I restarted my iPod and it crashed again... reopened the app without restarting and it worked. Third time lucky.
I like the minecraft skin. If Eden had the minecraft skin, then I would delete this and get that. To me this is better.
Game Impressions Finally played it and it's good! Hate the jump button though, can't move at a diagonal. Had to turn up the sensitivity, wish I could move the jump button. Had crashes creating worlds until I ran MemoryInfo to free up space (30 mb free...) Everyone is right though - Eden has more bang for the buck than this, Mooncraft too. ThIs will detract from my Junk Jack playing, but not entirely! There is water/lava, torches and ladders. Really is Creative mode minus most of the blocks. Will be great when they add more stuff. Haven't tried multiplayer yet.
No, there aren't any rails or minecarts yet. Its actually pretty good, but the controls really need a redo, there needs to be a slightly smaller joystick in the corner and a jump button on the other side. Other than that, if they add more blocks like minecarts, rails, redstone circuits, tnt and doors would be awesome and would definitely make this game worth it, would be the best if they added all the other blocks from the real creative mode.
