I know this post is a couple months old. They added the live support to make multiplayer easier yes but the advanced section under create a new world to manually type a IP address and connect to any server is still there it was never removed and local multiplayer still exist too.

Can't seem to get the end portal to work??? Have watched a few videos and placed the blocks and eyes but nothing happens???? Any help appreciated. Thanks microsoft, the music pack only plays 1 song than it just stops, when i leave and rejoin the world it's the same thing, play one song than stops forever from playing the others
It didn't work for me at first, either. I tried in another spot in the same world (same layout, all blocks pointing inward, etc.) and it did work. Both were built on top of grass. Both were in the same area. The only difference I can see between the one that works and the one that doesn't is that the non-working on is on top of a tall hill while the working one is down on the ground level. Perhaps end portals can only work in the lower portions of the world? Maybe they have to be within a certain proximity of the bedrock? I don't know.
So is there a way (without having to sign into Xbox live) for people on different devices to Download the purchased store content? It sucks that when my son and I want to play together we both have to be signed into the Xbox live account and therefore have the same user name
Yeah, but the 1.2 update looks like it broke the game completely. Can't fight anymore, can't access achievements, can't mine resources. It doesn't even show the new icon. Anyone else having these problems? My son has some serious problems and complaints. Edit: Deleted the app and installed it again after rebooting the iPhone. Funny thing: while the app downloads, it shows the new icon, but as soon as it is downloaded, the old app icon reappears. It still says v.1.2 on the title screen. Same bugs as I've said before.
