Fancy graphics, beautiful skies, and animated water ae all on and I'm using max draw distance. My world is still fairly small though about 8 to 13 Gb, it varies. I've been mostly underground lately but have not noticed any major slowdowns in areas with lots of trees. I'll check it out next time I fire it up though.
8 to 13 gb is small world for minecraft? Please tell me it's a typo or my daughters gonna be asking for a new device soon lol.
Phew lol, I checked my daughters game and it's already hogging 2gb of space, she has way too many worlds lol.
Well they have released 0.9.1, 0.9.2, 0.9.3, and 0.9.4. All of these are bug fixes and the description is the same as the 0.9.0 one. You have to look at the title of the update, rather than the description to be sure though.
Oh, ok, I'm used to having it say things like bug fixes, along with the big updates description. Thanks.
I thought the same too, I've got on android and ios and it feels like one if them has needed updating ever since the big one, I thought it was the same one as the description stays the same until I noticed the numbers changed lol.
Not sure what's happened, she's used the seed and there were two. Did you put the minus symbol at the beginning? I'll double check that I've got the seed correct.
I've just used the seed on my device on both android and ios and it generated the same worlds with two villages visible from the spawn point.ive tried attaching screen shot where you can see a village on the sand biome to the right and a another biome village to the left. I dunno why it's not working for you. All I can think is maybe you left out the - at the beginning? Has anyone else tried the seed and can confirm it produces villages for them?
Tried that seed posted: -1006519354 And not only was there a village within view but right next to the spawn point was a hole in the ground with a cave. Nice. Make sure render distance is set all the way up as it may not show if your view distance is too short. This is a nice way to start a game as there's less work to do to get going... and you can just squat in one of the houses at night. I think I'm going to keep a save for this and just use it to explore & survive with minimal mining/crafting.
Glad it worked. I've just started playing this myself, my daughter wants us to have something to do together over the summer holidays and the amount of stuff to learn is huge.
On the bright side, PE is a lot less complex than the current PC version. I've had a lot of fun with my kids playing both versions of the game. Teaming up to fight zombies and other enemies can make for a real good time.
My daughter and I are sharing a world and loving it. One problem we ran into, though, was when I first tried to join her game -- I couldn't find her! Tried setting torches high up, etc, but no luck. We finally had to start over together so we were starting at the same point.
When you first join a world, you're not carrying anything, so it would have taken quite a while to get what I needed to make a compass. Works well for later on, though.
