Is the update out yet? I ask because my kids play this, not so much me, and they are looking forward to the update. I did a bunch of updates last night, but didn't notice if Minecraft was among them.
Do we know if this version involved any mining or crafting? Or is it still just for building only? Jamie.
My understanding is that it won't have crafting yet, but will have survival mode and some additional items like doors, cows (I think it was cows) and such. Crafting is coming in the future.

Game Impressions Works with no problems. I can say that flying is the most welcomed feature I was waiting for, because it makes building in higher areas extremely easy; no more building blocks and ladders. Havent touched survival mode yet and don't see anywhere in options where I can switch to it my current world on the fly? The new blocks are very welcomed as well (half blocks, fences, different colored blocks, etc). *Flying navigation is: - Tap jump button twice to enter flight mode. - Tap up arrow twice while in flight mode to ascend. - Tap down arrow twice to decend. - Navigating while in flight mode is as simple as moving d-pad. - Tap jump twice while in flight mode to switch back to walk mode.
