I was about to post the same thing. I could deal with a 360 exclusive, but Kinect? Do we really want to spend hours upon hours doing nothing but make digging motions? It makes me think they're going to change the game somewhat to make it more console friendly, but that carries the risk of simply ruining the game.
It seemed like it was gonna be Kinect only, but they never really said Kinect exclusive. I've got my fingers crossed it's optional.
Hopefully not. MS must have given them a healthy sum, especially considering going with Sony would have allowed them complete freedom in terms of mods, much like Unreal Tournament 3. Now we're stuck with vanilla and anyone who plays a custom Minecraft can get screwed.
It better have controller compatibility. It would suck only being able to play using body movements. I bet your arms would get sore from all the mining.
Imagine if it was verbal commands.... 2 hours later... Dig Dig Dig Dig.... Mine Mine Mine..... Wait why don't I just play this on my computer?
