This is a game I think many of you would like. It´s similar to the game Fractorio and is really amazing. Basically it´s a mix of ressource management / tower defense and rts. Not full screen on iPhone X but I don’t care and I typically do. Is there cross-platform co-op? I got a google friend to get the game and would like to co-op. And considering the Factorio will never make it to mobile, it's safe to say this is a good investment. I'm definitely gonna give it a try. Although, according to description, it has some tower defense game mechanics in it which makes me a little bit worried (it's the one genre I don't like, get and play), so I really hope it's not heavily based on that. MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,442 257 83 #5 MetaGonzo, Apr 20, 2020 I haven’t played a great deal of it but it is essentially tower defense. Enemies come in waves and it’s up to you to arrange your defences accordingly. Those arrangements are much more in depth than your average TD but the very fundamentals of it remain. Great game. I keep meaning to come back to it but, as always, there’s too many games and not enough time. achilles1984 Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2011 50 9 8 #6 achilles1984, Apr 30, 2020 Here is a preview for the new content: achilles1984 Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2011 50 9 8 #7 achilles1984, Dec 3, 2020 New Update with a truckload of new content available. I’m XS Max and with that setting at 150% I can use all the buttons and bottom of screen. You can’t see the buttons under the notch but just enough stick out to press them. It’s easy enough to learn them or quickly tip it into landscape if you forget. Fantastic update but I’m a bit in the dark about how campaign mode works now (was before really tbh). Still long for a decent guide! Edit: Update fixing the issue just landed. achilles1984 likes this. MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,442 257 83 #16 MetaGonzo, Nov 20, 2022 It is complicated but it’s not confusing. It’s only what $1.99 (not sure because I bought this ages ago)? As well as that it is free on Android and Itch.io, so you can give it a try on those platforms before supporting it monetarily. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,481 171 63 #18 vectorarchitekt, Nov 21, 2022 On a scale of SimCity SNES to SimCity 300 complex, where would you say it falls? I also dislike tower defense and find it very stressful but I’m open to it if it’s well done MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,442 257 83 #19 MetaGonzo, Nov 21, 2022 Well, I’m not going to say that it’s never stressful! Also tower defense is a big part of the game (although there’s offensive play too). In terms of complexity it’s certainly more in depth than SC SNES; it’s been a long time since I’ve played 3000, maybe less complex? It’s a hard comparison to draw to be fair. As Wall Jump Games said, the price of admission is very low/free. You’re clearly intrigued by it, I say go for it. sebgo likes this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 583 197 43 Male 95% leisure. Love the way it expands as more materials and techs are discovered. Transporting materials over long distances and through intricate corridors feels great. It can be a bit stressful and seem overwhelming at first, but start slow and stick to the basics; then, explore some more. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
