That's right, Silicon Jelly is (and was) the original Mimpi developer. Anyway, congrats on being featured via big banner in games category!
Yeah I was just the publisher - not the dev. They decided to self publish this one. Which is fine. I think they just wanted help with the original as it was their first title.
That is right Josh! Without Crescent Moon Games the first Mimpi would be probably invisible on the App Store.
I'm in the Castle in the "toilet" section. The hint illustrated to jump on the pulley and the lid should open up to drain the liquid. However, it isn't working for me. Any advice?
If there's anyone put off by the fact that they didn't really get into the first one then please give this a go. In a moment of bored madness I bought this despite really not enjoying the last one but I'm loving this. It's easy but tremendous fun and very sweet (which isn't a word I would normally use but there you go).
This game is one of my favorite games so far this year. While not known for the overall complexity of the puzzles, the game does have some pretty clever level design making for an entertaining and all-ages appealing game. The level I had the most challenge finding all the bones was the Ship; but, nothing that a few moments of pause, beard stroking and head scratching can't remedy. Mimpi Dreams puts great emphasis on the entire gaming experience, from the nuanced sounds and movements from our titular hero to the eye-catching and mesmerizing 2D artwork and animation. This game is really top shelf and is worth a spot on everyone's iDevice. Looking forward to more levels!
Thank you. That is funny idea The only problem is that Mimpi would need really a "good shot" to extinguish the fire dragon
Game design in this part was actually ridiculously hard and we changed this part like hundred times. We limited the cloud region on the dragon because Mimpi could go over the dragon and simply jump right on his back without solving the actual puzzle and without meeting the Knight etc. I still like the idea, but it always needs to be discussed with our designers Do you have more ideas which I can translate to our designers?
Yeah, that makes sense. Level design is about trying little things back and forth. Don't worry, save the idea for later, make it an easter egg or something (for next year). I used to design an iOS game called Pee Monkey - Toilet Trainer years ago, not sure if that game can be still running on latest iOS or not. But this kind idea seems quite familiar for me LOL Will PM you when find other cool ideas. Cheers!
