Absolutely love it! Has a very retro-vibe to it, and I love the subtle tunes and that it is made up of rhymes. And also, thanks so much for the ability to run, this helps the pacing of the game. I love a lot of other adventure games, but seeing the protagonist walking the same way slowly for the umptienth time can be really discouraging. I'm excited where the tale of Ruth us going, and I definitely love the setting, backstory, and the puzzles!
Glad to hear you liked the game! Some people think Ruth walks and runs too fast, but it was a very conscious design desicion. I'd like to see someone do a speedrun of Milkmaid
Possible bug in barn, not a big one tho Dear Dev I noticed that after the cows are out of their barn, when you tap where the lower right cow was it gives the same message as when the cow is there.
Great game, Machineboy! I just left a long and glowing review on the AppStore - I hope MMW gets the attention and success it deserves! I also very much hope to see more adventure games from you in the future.
Ah, thanks for the report, guess something slipped through the cracks. Will fix this in the next update!
I think if we're to have a truly keen time, All comments in this forum should be sung in rhyme. I keep wandering this ship when I should be asleep, But it's too late now, I'm in too deep.
Such a nice game. But now I am stuck at the very end. (Spoilers ahead!!) During the last confrontation I used the screwdriver to losen the pipe. I dont know what to do next. In a walkthrough video I've found, the screwdriver is used on the pipe a second time and that triggers something to fall off. Doesnt work here though. I've tried millions of times. Any ideas? Thanks for this great game!
That video might have been mine. It was a bug I wasn't aware of that has since been fixed. I made a new one, though: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
A Galaxy Too Distant... Hello! This game has certainly caught my eye! I'd love to buy and play it, but unfortunately I cannot because I'm on iOS 8.
Yeah, it's only available on iOS9 and above, sorry. But if you have a PC or Mac you can get the game on Steam
Machineboy thank you for making this game. I have just finished it and had fun while doing so. Some of the puzzles took me a bit at first and I did watch the walk through for help at one point. Spoiler It was the frog in the engine(?) room. I didn't know to put it there. Or to even use the needle. I do have to ask about this alien culture. Will we see more of them? Was their design inspired by Indians? What prompted you to make them the way you did? I'm really curious here.
Thanks for playing! I know that some of the puzzles, especially later on, could probably have been hinted at some more. It's difficult to design puzzles that are balanced, but I think most of the people have gotten through the game. The aliens were partly inspired by Indian culture and some aspects of Hinduism. I guess the ideas sprung out from the respect or sacredness of cows one can find in Hinduism, and thought it would be interesting to base some of the lore on these aspects.
