Woohoo!!! You put in my suggestion to adjust the control button transparency!!! I bought this game cause I thought I was helping the homeless, instead I got a wonderful platform game that keeps getting better and better! The more transparent buttons make the playing field on my new ipad screen look much bigger, and the game looks so much better because of it! Thanks so much for being a great developer who listens to our ideas, as well as making this a game that controls so well on my ipad. Never thought platform games were my thing, but after playing this game and Wimp, I am shocked, maybe platform game controls can work on ios. This game sure does. Thanks again for implementing the transparent buttons! You did a great job in implementing that for us, and for that, I will write you an excellent review from the Connector. Great job guys! And love those new costumes, this game is a heck of a lot of fun. See god is good, guess my helping the homeless karma has helped!
Thanks! The TA forums have always been a great place for developers and players to interact. We love the support!
Thanks! Fortunately it was easy to add the transparency slider and made sense in terms of hiding controls for iCade and Joypad. And I also found that I liked playing with hidden controls on my iPad.
I absolutely don't believe it. Mikey Shorts get iCade support on the day my wife takes my iPad for a few days. I'll try the phone on the iCade mobile thing but can't wait to try on the iCade proper on Thursday. Well done, Mike and Mike.
Has some of the best/most responsive controls I've been on an iOS platformer. Very nice. I'm not too good, but hey at least I know it's my fault. Hah.
Ha! Crazy how it always works out like that. I'll be very curious to hear what you think of playing Mikey Shorts on the iCade.
Thanks, and glad you like the controls! We spent a lot of time working on those. EDIT: oh, and noticed your name with the pdx part. That's where I'm from -- Portland!
Just got the phone and iCade mobile back from my 10yo son. It gets his seal of approval. Button mapping on iCade mobile worka perfect. Shoulder buttons are pause (top left) and restart (top right). Can't wait to try myself tonight - and them try iCade proper on Thursday/Friday. Great work all round.
