And as a side note, the game launches quickly even on iPhone 4. A bonus that makes it all the easier to chose it to play.
We do know the official number, but we aren't planning on divulging any of that at this point. We may do a sales report kind of thing at some point, because I know it can be useful information for other devs and stuff.
I just can't quite get 27.05 on 1-1... 27.07 4 times, and 27.08 numerous times, but I just can't shave off those last 2 hundredths.
I gave up @ 27.18 lol Been concentrating on challenge mode now though 38k just to get in top 25 is tough going , Im close to 40k now then top 5 will be in my sights
been a hardcore igamer for awhile now. (since the start) and this is best game I've played on the platform. thank you developers
Can't stop playing this!!! Everything just feels so right, love it!!!! It's non stop fun, just plan old' fun. Nothing feels like it was rushed, every level has a perfect flow and the times are easy-ish to three star without being too easy. Leaderboards are where it's at, and that could take awhile. In my top 5 iOS game list for sure!!!
Wow, thanks! There is definitely some stiff competition on the leaderboards, which we love watching from the sidelines.
I'm slowly progressing up the ranks, trying to atleast hit top 30 in each level then go back and fine tune things up a bit. Got to 9th on 4-1 then saw I got bumped out a couple days later. The competition is stiff indeed! Sometimes has me wondering how the hell it's even possible to knock 1 or 2 seconds off like the top spots are showing. Are there secret passages hidden in these levels or is it just a perfect smooth run required? I havn't started the chanllenges yet still on the levels.
No secret passages in the Story levels. For the most part they are pretty linear since the statues really dictate your path. The key is to really nail the sections that force you to change direction. Beyond that, I'm sure others here have better tips. I know I wouldn't even be able to get most of the high scores!
What's up Mikeg and qpawn? Fellow Hook Champ speedrunner here. I haven't bought a game since mos speedrun, but when I saw that two speedrunners made a speedrunner, I had no choice. It's a seriously great game. Top 3 for me. Appealing art, smooth controls, and clever level design. You earned all the positive recognition this game gets. I was somewhat disappointed when I found out there were no extreme or nightmare levels. I would really like the difficulty upped if you update with more levels.
