This looks like tons of fun. Plus I'm really excited that some TA posters have banded together to make their own game, I'll definitely be supporting this!

And we are getting really close! Finalizing the story and cut scenes and then we'll be done with all of the game features. After that we have to tweak some level times, fix any new bugs, and then we should be ready to submit. We can't wait to get this out!
We're about to start a final round of beta testing for the game, and then we hope to submit early next week!

Mikey Shorts has been submitted to the app store!! Fingers crossed for a smooth review process. Reviews seem to be taking around 11 days at the moment, so we'll hopefully release later this month!

Game looks great, congrats. I see theres a 'back' button. So can you play it either as a speed runner game (is that the term ?) or as a casual take your time, go left/right/left type traditional platformer ?
Yes, you're free to explore the levels by moving left and right! In Story Mode, the clock counts up. Faster times earn more stars, but you can take your time and try to collect every coin or search for a hidden Golden Shorts in each level. In Challenge Mode, there's a score that counts down from a starting value. When the score hits zero, the level ends!
Really looking forward to this, if it's anything like Hook Champ I'll definitely like it. Watching you guys duke it out on the leaderboards for Hook Champ and the whole qpawn conspiracy was pretty fun to watch, another game where something like that is possible is gonna be awesome!
Yes, the HC days were a lot of fun! That would be cool if we could get a Mikey Shorts conspiracy going. There should be plenty of opportunity for folks to battle it out for high scores in MS. But we can't emphasize enough that the game can also be a very casual and fun experience to play if you aren't into the speed thing. There is plenty to do for everyone. Kids also really enjoy playing the game. My 3 year old loves to play!
