Mikey Jumps by BeaverTap Games Updated. I replayed from the beginning, and indeed the 7 first areas I had already done felt easier. Or maybe I'm very good now lol. Oddly, I found 8.1 to be always hard to reach for the rope after the jump? Now I'm almost through area 10. Tough I like the fast pace and that after practicing, it kinda feels like muscle memory All in all the game becomes pretty hard rapidly, around area 4 or 5, even with 6 hearts. I hope that casual players won't run away from it. With 3 hearts it will be hard for most people. Though I can see how it could be fun for kids to challenge their mates after they went through a difficult level. Flappy Bird like proud Any plan to add a quick way to challenge or share the level via twitter or FB, text,... ? On the IAP, the 6 hearts is the best value. It could be priced a bit higher, maybe 3.99 or 4.99. To me it should cost more than the coin doubler as coins are only used for cosmetic purposes. I don't really see the appeal of unlocking a panel of hats via IAP, what would the coins be used for if you pay for everything?I guess I'm not the target demographic for this stuff lol Good game, fast paced, ideal for short play sessions. I wouldn't recommend playing before going to sleep though
Thanks for the update! I like that you hit on the major points we were looking for while making this game: fast paced, good for short sessions, and practice makes perfect! Plus I'll add that we were definitely going for a lot more challenging in Mikey Jumps. Not brutally hard, and that's one of the reason for the bite-sized levels -- when you die you aren't having to start over on a really long level. I'd also say those earlier areas felt easier because you are becoming a better player! That's the part I've enjoyed playing through the areas myself. When we first started putting areas together, I'd try the levels out and feel I'd never pass them. But for some reason I couldn't stop, and the more I played the easier they got -- to the point of not only passing them, but being able to perfect them! So keep at it! Not sure how much else we will change at this point, may have to wait for an update as we'd like to submit the game soon!
I easily breezed my way past the first four levels but I have been embarrassingly stuck on level five for a while.
Feels like a mismatch in difficulty to me. Lvl 12 took ages to get through but I just got to 13-9 on my first go.
