When a game is this riddled with bugs, you can and should expect it to take at least a year before the game becomes playable. Assuming the devs will support it that long.
Is an undo button too much to ask?? Way too many times I will be in the thick of battle, about to win and I accidentally move one of those stupid little green pixies or blue bears and I lose 2 moves because I then have to correct what I accidentally did. And, by god, the unit selection (to delete) could not be any more frustrating, I guess it would be great if I had the fingers of a 6 year old girl. Love the game, but come on.
^Yeah... That's why i said a few posts back that they should have just made this ipad-only. It plays great on the ipad and even the ipad mini, without the hassle of miss swiping the wrong units..
I'm actually really enjoying it on my iPhone 5, so I completely disagree. Unfortunately I've been hit by the save game crash bug (twice now) that's already been reported, so I'm taking a break till we see an update.
I too am enjoying it on my iPhone 5 and haven't had a problem. The one problem I had was it freezing on the iCloud sync screen when swapping devices. Is this the save bug? Cuz if it is I have to wait for the update as well
Somebody posted a quick-fix while we wait for the update... During loading, DONT SKIP ANY OF THE LOGOS. That lets icloud sync correctly without being interrupted and it works for me.
Adding an undo button would unbalance the game. When you delete some units you can get a chain effect that is huge. (Sometimes you see them, sometimes happen by dumb luck). People could keep trying to delete units looking for a great combo and would break the game. There is no time limits so just have to take your time.
Edit Yeah, sorry... I got this mixed up with the new forsaken title... Which looked a lot like Dungeon Defenders... =o/ Sorry bout that.
I knew you made a mistake, and so did I by answering your query thinking i was still in the Heroes and Castles thread, hence, the nvm post above. Anyways, i got to save my answer to you here and i pasted it on your Q in the correct thread.
What's the deal with this game? I've been hesitant to try it because of the less than stellar AppStore ratings and complaints. Is it playable on the iPhone 4?
Been on the edge with this one. Love puzzlers. Love RPGs. I've heard of the control issues with this one. Someone tell me why I should or should not buy this riggggghhhhhhttttt.......NOW.
Any temporary (or permanent) fix on the campaign clock showing ridiculously high number of hours playing the game?
