Same here. I've got an iPad Air and the graphics are super-pixelated. The last game looked much better on the iPad.

I'm loving this. It is much more streamlined than the last game, though I do miss the story as well as the unique and interesting weapons. The way they handle movement this time around is quite brilliant. Multiplayer is simpler and more fun as well.

People seem to get frustrated with the controls and the on-rails nature of the game. I recommend everyone to give this series a second shot if you fall into this camp. There is a bit of a learning curve but once you learn how to zoom it is very fun and honestly some of my favorite mobile controls ever.

    Hi All

Alex (@steakbacon) here - dev on Midnight Star: Renegade. Thanks for trying out the game. Stoked you are enjoying it @jubjubbird. I'll be around to answer questions.

The menu screens are intentionally letterboxed - once you get into gameplay the game goes full screen. The game does run on iPhone5 technically, but not recommended. Engine is really best on devices supporting Metal. We can limit AppStore distribution by os version, but unfortunately not specific device.

Feel free to hit us up with questions and such!

I hope it does well. The first game was criminally underrated.

I am sorry for posting again but will you be bringing the game to Android?

    Dowloaded, enjoying it so far.

I'm currently ranked 5th on the weekly multiplayer leaderboard after one try-I've NEVER been so high in the rankings in any multiplayer game I can remember. 5 days to go, I'm sure it won't last...

Can you comment on how pixelated the game looks on iPad Air? Is it a bug, or just necessary because the Air is a few years old? As Sparty said, I remember the first game looking a lot sharper.

Really fun game, though! It's just kind of an eyesore when you zoom in and everything looks like Playstation 1. (I can send you screenshots if it's a bug.)

I'd like to know as well. This aside, the game is tons of fun and the weapon upgrading is a huge draw.

Thanks for pointing out the iPad Air 1 resolution setting - we're looking into that now. If you (@sweetdis) can send me that screenshot I'd like to compare it to what I'm seeing here on my build. Thanks again.

This game looks great. How does progress sync across devices?

Is it possible to get headshots with rocket ammo?

I'm using 3 shot burst rockets.

    I don't think I can :(

Daily? I just gave it a shot with 45 minutes left. Didn't even perform too well. 1 playthrough, I'm NUMBER 5 WOO!

Plz don't knock me down guys and gals.

Hey Greyskull - no headshots with Rocket ammo - gotta use bullet or spread.

I performed better with a common rocket launcher. Devs if you are reading this thread-I'd like to see two daily competitions. One for points, the other for total kills. Those would emphasize different playstyles and eauips. Going for headshots and other point based kills plays much differently than max kills.
