From my gameplay experience i can´t see how a MFI controller would be quicker or even more convenient in this game. It´s tap to shoot and flick to zoom after all. And you do that constantly for highscores.

 

It it possible to enjoy the game without making in app purchases??

 

I haven´t spend anything as i´m using a NZ-account without credit. I was able to place in the top ten of the various multiplayer challenges, so i my opinion you can enjoy it without IAPs.
Haven´t had a chance to check out the lastest build energy wise, but keep in mind it uses an energy timer...

 

How does multiplayer work does your char sprint around the arena and you tap to shoot?

 

Multiplayer challenges score or time based with various options when creating challenges. You get three tries and only your last try counts. So you gamble if the score is good enough or if you want to risk getting a lower score with a second or third try. Works really well with around ten to twenty players in a challenge.

 

Oh man device not supported, that's to bad, back to nova and marathon infinity for me I guess

 

Anyone think the shooting is off? I have to like tap above or below (i forget which one) the guys to shoot right on them. Kind of weird as I would rather tap on them to shoot directly to them.

 

Game Impressions

Where your reticle is placed is based on the gun. For Assault Rifles, where you can touch and hold to spray bullets, the reticles is offset above your finger, so that you can see where you're shooting. For precision weapons, the bullet goes right where you touch. You can go into prefs in your Profile to turn the offset reticle off if you like.

 

I'd love to know this as well.

Can't wait to play this. How long does the 'connecting to scientific services' last.

 

I keep on getting server is unavailable at this moment. So I guess I just put the game aside for this moment. App size in device is 1GB just in case anyone want to know.

 

Should only be a few seconds, but it's day one, so we'll be watching our services closely. Were you able to get past that?

Bought the starter pack but then got an error stating it couldn't be purchased.

However I got charged for it! It took credit out of my account for the purchase but it did not unlock in game.

Same here. I've had to create 3 accounts now because they all get stuck in the tutorial or the starter pack vanishes. Maybe 4th time is the charm?
