I just got some earphones with a mic on this week, and discovered a couple of things. 1 press of the button play/pause 2 press's fast forward to next track Now it seems the few people i spoke to where limited to those controls,but i found 3 press's start of current track/previous track and 1 tap then hold for fast forward through the track 2 taps then hold for fast rewind through the track Because nobody i asked knew about this i figured i'd post it here,maybe enlighten others out there! But i thought these controls are really cool. Is this common knowledge?
I've never found the remote to be much use in honesty it isn't half as good as the ones on old cassette walkmans but I'd still like to see lots more headphones including it just because the microphone is pretty vital to me. I just don't like apple earbuds in general though give me sennheiser or Shure any day.
I think it is common knowledge. It even says in the instruction manual (not that people actually read them!) Thanks for posting anyway, in case others didn't know.
