I agree with the previous comment and also you waste a chance if it doesn't work. Like sleep is only a 50% chance to work so you lose a turn and they gain one sometimes! They just don't seem rewarding enough with some abilities like that.
The only time I can see dedicated stun moves useful at all is if they prevent an enemy from using 2 actions, giving you a free turn. I typically don't use dedicated moves for this though, since there are attacks that have stuns/confusion/paralysis/freeze effects that often proc more than the dedicated moves do. The battle system needs work though, like someone needs to review the movesets in greater detail, especially buffs and stun-like moves.
I think this could be alleviated to a large extent by not having the dialogue "type out", for lack of a better term...300 baud modem style. I know it's a nod to the priors and all but...ugh.
In response to the people complaining about the text, I really don't think it's that bad. It's actually much better than Pokemon, in terms of how fast the text scrolls out (even if you set it to the "fast" setting) The Militia is in one of the areas north of Navia, I think the second or third one. Look for a soldier guarding a passageway, once you have that quest you'll be able to get past him.
I found a bug when trying to play a friendly match with Game Center friends. It lists 4 names on the first page, with scroll icons to the side. But when you go to the second or last page, the same 4 names stay on the list. Unless they are listed first, you can't play against them.
Stun is actually pretty epic on a fast micromon. Actually I don't think stun does damage, but confuse is awesome. You do damage, the enemy skips his turn, and it auto rotates to you having two more turns. This is very beneficial to fast micromon that have two turns. Rinse and repeat and the enemy doesn't have a chance to get a turn off.
Hey guys what is a good starter micromon to start with that will get your through the game easily? Also with the free gold micromon spin which micromon would be best to aim for? Currently i have the water starter and ashgon both dr10
I think rock wall was a terrible example. It was right before I went to sleep that I wrote that. The gist of what I was tryin to say was moves that create effects have immense power. I just instinctively knew there was a benefit, because I got my ass kicked so many times because of moves like stun, confuse and paralyze. I don't think you really see the benefit until you stand there and watch as your little guy kill himself because of a move a much lower level did to him. EDIT: I can't remember right now, but I think it's actually confuse that does that whole take off a certain percentage of your health every turn. Unless that's a multiplayer glitch. Then my whole point is invalid.
Its the attack moves that ALSO stun/confuse that are the killers. The regular stun and sleep moves which deal no damage are useless
Screech isn't useless. Not at all if you hit. But you are right with pretty much everything else I think. I was clearly thinking of head butt and moves like that this whole time.
Ok so where can I get a lunatail? I so want one but can't find it. I'm in the sea town but can't find it....and specific area? LOVING this game....and I don't play Pokemon clones.... 5/5
Do anyone have a problem after they went to the 2nd area after the cave and having this problem? So basically I can't fight any monsters at all, when I found them in the bushes it just auto-gameover and return to the home screen... Wasted $1
No, multiplayer is working for me, but in singleplayer, when I encounter a monster randomly, after it say battle begin, my screen will say Game Over then return to the menu. Edit: So anyway to solve this problem or I just wasted $1?
if you are healing in shop, this could be a bug. we have a patch coming out later in the week, this should fix it. please let us know if it doesnt.
