It's no problem. It would make sense if those bonus areas were more profitable than eggs, since they cost more than silvers and require you to actually spend time catching monsters, versus easily just spinning the wheel and getting a good monster. I think that system needs to be reworked. But as it stands now, I actually think that there is more luck involved in using those areas versus eggs. The way monster stats are, most monsters can be useful when they're leveled up high enough. I feel that the DR is actually more important than the actual monster, since monsters with lower DRs are instantly at a disadvantage.
Best HM slave ever. It also had the ability to pick up random items from the environment, so I would always fill my party with them in the early game and slowly replace them as I found more worthy pokemon.
So I figured I got an amazing game for a buck. I'm truly enjoying the hell out of it. I have some great micromon, all 4* + and most are DR 9-10 I've found in the bushes / forests. I decided to buy a 10$ itunes card and I'm going to throw it down on 2-3 golden eggs because the devs deserve it. Will post pictures later of what I get!
Dude, that's anything but true. I constantly are DR 8-10. The stats are that much different between those two development rate levels. The game is not pay 2 win. You paid a dollar for an amazing game, please quit whining. Don't you see everyone on here talking about how they capped some sweet micromon? Without having to try your egg luck. I hate people who come in here, paid 99 cents for a game and they're like Edited, don't wanna start a fight.
Dude, because the micromon's level equal the average of your 5 strongest, please save some of the eggs until you are level 40-50 ish.
I could always level them up though bud! Your right though I should save some just so I don't have to go through the trouble of leveling them.
Plus Pokemon is tired or needlessly complex to a lot of people. Between the number of Pokemon, stuff like HM/TM moves, silly evolution requirements, EV, IV, breeding, etc. This game is a hell of a lot simpler and I vastly prefer that. Never got into the competitive aspect of Pokemon simply because of the stuff above.
For those who played further than me, is there something like the Exp. Share item of Pokémon games? Training low level micromons is a PITA... I'd even buy it like that bike thing that avoid random encounters.
Is there any point in using a DR thats not 10? Found a 4* DR 9 water guy. My whole team is DR 10s at the moment, but i have 1 normal type, 2 fire types, and 3 rock types. So is it worth replacing one of the rocks with the DR9 water one?
^ yeah. Like I said there isn't to big of a difference between dr 8-9. Commons and super rares are the same as well pretty much. Although some super rares have awesome skill sets. So it's really up to you. You don't HAVE to have DR 10s. It's nice to have most micromon dr 7 and above though.
Don't worry I don't want to argue either, I was just saying how I was feeling I'm too hard on myself in that I won't take anything that isn't DR10 so I make it harder. I do enjoy the game and am happy with it, I just hoped they would pop up a little more as at the moment with the hours I've spent grinding the same areas hoping for DR10 and not finding shy it seems to be much less than even 1/100 probably much more. Sorry if I was harsh I know it's my own decision not to take anything but a 10 and because of that I'm still at the start of magma and have level 30/50 micromon from all my farming and looking for 10s!
Finished the game now I'd say it's around 10-15 hours long depending on how much you grind/your team. I only used 5 Micromon (1 of each type) in my playthrough and it was great fun. Here's a tip for after you beat the last legion member : Spoiler Before entering the cave in Minerlia make sure to stock up on revives, potions, ethers etc because that's the last chance you'll have to do so before end game and there are ALOT of tamer battles in between that (8 very hard fights in all I believe) plus you'll have to be facing the highest level Micromon in-game in a Pokemon style cave (so you can't avoid them). Make sure your team is at least in its forties at the start or you'll be creamed
I think I should just draw attention to something that you guys might not have noticed: See that beautiful micromon animation when you are battling? See how it's actually moving from one angle to another and not just one frame going up and down so it create the perspective of a 3D creature? Now times that by 2 as they have to animate the front on animation for all 130 of them. Now double that again, because they even freaking animated the mother flipping SHADOWS of each of them. Even old Pokemon pretty much just gave everything a circle shadow. The animation team should get All of the high fives.
Evolved micromon hatched from egg has more stamina than regular evolved micromon; this might not be such a difference in regular gameplay, but in pvp this is huge!
Did anyone else experience the "Focus Attack" bug?. Every time my monsters or a wild monster uses the attack, the game crashes.
Yeah that first form / second form bug is a pretty big deal in multiplayer. Hopefully it gets noticed by the devs. I know they're aware of other bugs and are working on fixing them. I wonder if all evolved monsters have less stamina if you level & evolve them yourself? or if it's just a bug on certain devices or certain monsters ect.
So after finishing the beach area, I went back to farm/level. At some point, a ghost appeared and started flying across the screen. Follows me where ever I go in that area. I missed any dialog associated with it. What is this thing, I can't interact with it?
By beach area do you mean the first area? That sounds awesome haha. Maybe you found a special Easter egg?
