    Dear forum members,

not as sophisticated as Shredder Chess, but I had this up for a long time now.

It is *not* a clone of the wooden Labyrinth, but should resemble those little plastic goodies from your childhood.

I have some promo codes left and I'd like to give away 10 of them. A little feedack would be nice, and a fair review is appreciated.

Send me a pm and the first 10 will get a code.

    Thanks,
    Eiko

You only get 50 per version so if you update it and apple approves the update you can get 50 more.

How about a link to the game for those who just want to find out more about it...?

the objective of the game is to bring the ball to the center of the maze. you can choose either a round or a square maze. you can increase the level of difficulty by adding more balls (max of 3). once the ball is in the center, you'll get a new maze.

pretty decent game with a simple gameplay. i'd say it's worth your $.99 specially if you want to play a labyrinth game without the challenge of avoiding holes. :)

not sure if this is already complete or you have plans for an update. in case you are, here are some ideas:
    1. please add a timer.
    2. add some traps to bring a new dimension to the gameplay. how about some spots where if a ball lands, the ball is brought back to the corner of the maze?
    3. add some concave areas to serve as home/goal for the balls so that it's not always the center and each ball has its own home/goal.
    4. once #2 and #3 are available (increasing the difficulty of the game), attach a number to the maze then allow the user to select a maze number.

I've been playing the game off and on for a day now (thanks for the promo code!)

I used to love these games as a kid (I'm 35 now, so it's been a while!), and think the experience on the iphone is a fairly good approximation. In its current state,I don't know how much replay value it will have for me, but I would have thought it a fair value if I had paid the sale price for it.

    The good:

    - The physics are pretty good, but the three control sensitivity levels need a little tweaking to get them even closer to reality
    - The variations in the mazes are nicely done, and the visual style of these games was captured very well
    - The multiple balls option is also a very nice touch, but it does highlight the need for getting the sensitivity even more perfect.

I understand the game as an attempt to replicate these maze games on the iphone, and don't fault it for missing features that wouldn't be possible in a real plastic mini-maze.

    The not so good:

    - It desperately needs sound, especially the little 'chink chink' of the tiny metal ball against the plastic if the goal is to be as realistic as possible
    - Better starting positions (on several labyrinths, the ball starts out at what to me is a short and obvious path to the center)

Overall, not bad at all and a welcome true-to-life nostalgia attempt (like the LCD football games, this is another iphone game where it is not trying to be an iphone game but is trying to be a faithful replica of the real game).

I think $.99 (USD) is the right price point for it though, especially without sound.
