If you long press the char whose turn it is during combat it will bring up their profile and you can read about the skills there. That said DEVs the skills are in random order which makes it very annoying trying to figure out which skill you read to where it is in the combat screen as a lot of the icons look very similar. This is an awesome game. Only thing I would've liked is more rpg elements with the units. There doesn't seem to be any customization with them so far.
Some comments mention iap in the game, I just wanted to make it crystal clear to anyone interested, there is ZERO iap in this game, there never was any in the soft launch version and there's none in this release version either.
I am starting to get the hang of it.. And actually u find it super fun! If only the station managements were better it would have been perfect
A heads up to iPad Pro owners. The game currently does not support the larger screen resolution of the Pro and the interface and game menus are being cut on the sides. I believe that the devs are working on a patch for this problem. Best to hold on to your money until they sort it out.
It was in soft launch a couple of weeks ago. Now it is reported as 'released' because it became available in the US and UK. Several countries, like Belgium and Switzerland however still don't have it in their store.
Lol, my little review was deleted))) Yes, i like 4x games very much) In comparison to good 4x games on ios like autumn dynasty or starbase orion, Metro 2033 wars is not a bad game , it'just mediocre. There's no research , no diplomacy ( you can only either declare war of gift money to other factions), no espionage. The combat would be more interesting if there was a better tutorial ( current does poor job of mechanics, stats and skills explanation). As the person familiar with the lore ( read both books) , i can say that the plot is rather uninteresting. The game wouldn't suffer without any plot.
This is a really great game IMO. You don't have tons of story like Shadowrun. Just lots of turn based battles with great graphics. Quite a bit of strategy required, and the sound and music are great - very atmospheric. I like that they left the voices in Russian too. Makes it more interesting and unique. £5.99 and no IAPs - I wouldn't have minded paying maybe £8 to £10.
Think it needs a little more squad/team management. I'm worried that once I'm out of the beginning part of the game it will become easy to loose track of individual teams/members? Any tips?
When will the game be available in Belgium? Are we not good enough? Do you dislike our waffles or our mayonnaise? Pls, give us a hint...
Man this game is hard.. Once you complete your starting line and expose to the outside world u are in for a big surprise. No more were rats.. Those buggers are level 10 and above!!!! Just a tip manage your food well!!!! They eat like pigs!!! BTW anyone activated the cheats?
From what I gathered in this thread and on sites, this game was released earlier on Android with IAP. On iOS it would seem to have a buy once, get everything deal. But I just quoted the site literally as I found it...
