@Squirt Reynolds, Jebus, Vinny554: We haven't decided on a price yet, but it should be similar to other dual-thumb shooters. We'll definitely let you know as soon as we figure it out!
@oyebto: The 45-60fps actually applies to all iPhone and iPod Touches. On our first-gen iPod Touch over here, I've been getting 60fps for about a third of the time, and 45fps when the action gets heavy. And the framerate is even smoother on our 2G and 3G iPhones.
We're doing gameplay balancing now, and we're planning to submit to Apple early next week. Last I heard, it's taking anywhere between 10-15 days for new apps to be approved now, so barring any problems, the game should be live late-August.
This looks to be, by far the most graphically impressive top down/space-shooter on the iDevice to date. If the controls are top notch (and i'm sure they will be), then this will blow everything else out of the water. I can't wait!!!
Meteor Blitz - Update Haven't submitted yet, but we're close! We decided to add a couple last minute features: achievements and autosave. We should be submitting soon. BTW, we found a way to take better video, check it out if you're interested:
Looks spiffy, definitely very much inspired by Geo Wars and Super Stardust HD, which is a good thing.
sorry for the delay, we're getting there. you'll be the first to know when we submit, and hopefully we'll be able to give away some promotion codes soon!
Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that we just submitted Meteor Blitz to Apple. Thanks for all your support! Hopefully they'll approve it soon. Any ideas or suggestions for future updates? I was thinking co-op multiplayer could be cool. What do you think?
Good to hear it's been submitted. Now we just have to wait through Apple's excruciatingly slow approval process. Hopefully they don't lag on this game. As far as future features go, co-op is a good idea (so are any new features really), but I just want to play version 1.0 first. (and from the looks of it in the video, I won't have any complaints)
