Isotope is the best dual-stick shooter, hands down! :p

Still hoping for iOS4 support though. :(

This game is so good it is almost a single reason to buy an iPad.

I thought that I recommended this one to you a long time ago...

Seriously, however many hundreds of pounds (£600ish) for a game you'll play for 3/4 hours max in its lifetime? Are you crazy or just ridiculously rich, because for about £230 I could get a PS3 and Fallout 3 which is 300+ hours.

I also recommended it to him long ago. ;)

I know I've spent waaaaaaaay more time than 3/4 of an hour on Meteor Blitz. How much time? I'm not sure I'm comfortable divulging that information. However, since it was actually one of the very first games I bought since I got my iPod Touch, and the first really really good one, it was uncontested for playing time during an era when I was riding the subway for about 15 hours a week, so you can probably do the math...

Yea, you both did. I'd been too occupied by the recent shooters out. But since d/l'ed Isotope and AbstractWar 2.0 and its really taking off for me in the game play. All very nice games.:)

these devs have no interest in adding retina unless they can charge for it... dont hold your breath

Sorry, it's just we're swamped with so many things that need to get done. We've been working literally 7 days per week for the past several months.

I'll see if we can fast track retina display, and I'm pretty sure we can do it without charging for it.

You know, I got my iPod touch 4g few days ago and put Meteor Blitz on it. It still looks amazing. Most non-retina display supported games look terrible on 4 gen devices. this one looks fantastic still. Retina support would be amazing! Can't wait. Hat off to you for supporting the game after so long.

Your right, it still looks pretty good .. Except the icon looks pretty naff now.. At the very least an icon update would be appreciated.

To the dev... Thanks for replying about a retina update.. Looking forward to putting this game back on my front page of games on my iPhone

It is a testament to how great this game is that people are still clamoring for support features (which are rather superfluous but would be nice nonetheless), what, 2 years after it was first released? And it is a testament to the support is has received that the devs are actually thinking about adding those features.

I just upgraded to a 4th gen Touch (my 4th Touch, but only the 1st with Retina) and I still keep Meteor Blitz in my "Favs" folder on my home page. The game is really just that darn good!
