Single player demo of Fuel on extreme played with 3 fingers on one hand. I miss all the hardest parts, but had a pretty good run. should I buy this or not. I enjoy the other tap tap games but are the songs really only good on extreme?
I don't even bother to check the high scores after finishing a song. The max score for Fuel must be over double what I got, and that one isn't nearly as hard as several of the others. This is a quality product, at least insofar as the gameplay itself is concerned. As with all other Tap Tap editions, it's recommended that people disable location services, auto brightness, push notifications, and make sure a good chunk of memory is available before starting the app; those things have actually made a big difference in my experience. It would be virtually impossible at this point in time to pay less than double this $5 price, and get both the quality and content this edition has to offer (i.e. no music game engine compares to that of the Tap Taps in my opinion, giving any game that has it an automatic 1-up over similar products), but the restriction of several songs (Master of Puppets - extreme; For Whom the Bell Tolls -medium; Enter Sandman -hard) to only one difficulty level, combined with the egregious, unjustifiable simplification of One on hard mode, makes it difficult to unconditionally recommend this game to all. It's important to make sure that you like most of the songs first, because you might end up feeling jaded if all your eggs are in the One basket. On the other hand, the sublime mapping of certain portions of extreme tracks makes for a fine rhythm-game experience, which makes it easier to forgive the fact that too many notes are forced upon you at once in other sections.
I like this game alot but would like to see ALL songs on all levels. Also are there global high scores just facebook ? Nice game though !
They have their own servers for in-game global leaderboards, which display just the top 10. I was #9 on Fuel extreme as of a few hours ago, but have probably been bumped off already. One of these days it would be cool of Tapulous to either display the top 20 or more in the app, or have online leaderboards (facebook or otherwise) that show more than 10. Does anyone know whether the Facebook scores for this edition or others show more than the top 10?
They can show the top 10 but at least show your ranking, openfeint would make this game amazing No fun to have to go to their leaderboards and seeing th top 10 is useless unless you can at least see your rank. Too bad
When I just bought this game I failed at the extreme songs, but now I found a way to "learn" how to play on extreme. Some kind of monster is the easiest song, so start with that one.
How do I get this to download?? It comes up in the search but when I press the purchase button it says "this game is unavailable" WTF # whyyyyy??
