For now, as far as adding drum kits, this is the best thing way I can tell you.

When you are at the main menu (In Beatmaker 2) tap on the tab that shows the iPod and a computer. Select on the left "File Transfer". It will then give you an IP Adress, a user name and password to use. Now open that FTP Client I sent you and and when you install and take care of that, at the top of the client it says "Host", that's where you put the IP adress on. Where it says user name and pass, put "intua". Thing should start flowing after you hit "Connect".

Now, you have that site where you can download drum kits that I sent you in the email? Download as many zip files as you want, unzip them, put them in a folder, and then dump them from the left to the right into your Beatmaker 2 folder and try and name it. Let me know if you have any questions about that first.

Did you put the .bmkz file in the folder? And you have to open it with the drum machine. Should put it in My Content folder and label it from there. Not sure what else went wrong =(

The question about Ambient stuff? Not in my own personal collection, but I will search for stuff for sure, I will try tonight. I have no wireless here at work atm so I can't add any kits to my iPod itself (since you have to have a WiFi connection =(

    Doing nothing of importance.

Well if you're not adding kits and have nothing to do but surf the Internet, you should find some good metal or punk for me.

Btw, just curious, but whats everyones background for their iPod? I'll post a screen of mine when I get on my computer after I finish cleaning my room.

Pretty sick background there! I have about 4 I alternate between which Ill post pics of once my dad gets off the computer.

And dude, I love Thrice! Good stuff there man... I almost thought they were touring with Underoath (who I'll be seeing next Sunday :D), but it turned out to be Thursday, who isn't bad either. I also saw A Skylit Drive on the list and almost freaked out thinking it was Parkway Drive lol.

And I gotta listen to The Demonstration more... Ive mostly been listening to Notanumber and The Faceless lately... I have An Autopsy stuck in my head right now.

Then most unfortunately, I bow out of this one. You might have to consult the Intua forums for further help. If you are doing everything I did, then there should be no problem. I'm really sorry man =( Have you been playing around with the app at all anymore? Would you consider buying it at all? (just curious, you're welcome to my account as long as you want)

Thanks! I have a couple I alternate between as well. Mainly this one though cause it's super cool to me. LOL

Hell yeah Thrice is sick, but I am not much of a fan of their latter stuff, just simply not as good. Not a fan of Thursday much either, but I like Underoath (Older preferably) and A Skylit Drive. That would have been an insane show for Parkway Drive. They never tour in the US cept warped tours and they get like 20 minute sets LOL.

Yeah I'm glad you showed me the Demonstration they are really good.

I might try there. And, well, I don't know. It still seems really complicated for me, I guess this was made for more professionals?
And yeah, I'm trying to work on an ambientish, synth based song here. : D

It's used by professionals and beginners a like. It has more advanced tools for the more professional user, and BM2 is MUCH more complicated than BM1, so I think that's why I know how to use it more so than the person who has just jumped right in, but once you get the hang of things it gets a lot easier. Trust me.

Cool! You will have to post to SoundCloud when you are done with it, I really wanna hear it!

Yeah, still the lack of proper music education makes it a lot harder for me. I have these melodies welling up in my mind and the most I can do is whistle. >.>

Did you check out the song I posted earlier?

Does your school offer any music theory or music lesson classes by chance? Just curious. But trust me dude, I have all these melodies and chords in my head that I can barely play. My music that I record by myself is a product of only what i can play. It's often really dumbed down because there will be parts that I want to play but can't. If that makes any sense.

And yeah dude I just checked it out! That was probably the best pirate song I have ever heard next to Scum of the Seven Seas by Buktooth Slug. LOL ^.^

No idea tbh. If it did, it'd probably be by some old guy who'd bore me to death.
Yeah, that does make sense. Similar here, but with much less ability to play.

Hah, it's a quite fun song. Reminded me of Running Wild as they intended.

Well that sucks. Music should always be fun. If it's taught in the manner of a chore, it f*cking sucks.
Yeah I hear ya man. I suck for my length of time I have been playing. Kinda hit me the other night. I should be wayyyyy better than I am.

    Running Wild pwns. lol

Though the weird thing is that I'm not an artistic person at all and I still want to make music.

Yup, too bad they split up.

Hmmmm. Other than music I am not an artistic person either. But Music is a big part of my life, so I guess I could be "artsy". ROFL.

I haven't heard anything from them in ages so I didn't even know the split up! lol

Hmm, the stuff working on seems interesting. Couldn't put it into a genre that's for sure.
