You know, as tech-ie as I like to claim myself to be (which isn't much but yeah..) I still don't own my own external HDD. I have a 8gig flash stick but that's it. LOL Yeah it's pretty cool. Nah it doesn't suck. It's pretty cool. /endofargument The wonderful thing about the Beatmaker apps is you can use it to make ANY kind of music you want to, within reason. Obviously there are no metal chords so you'd have to play along with a guitar yourself... What exactly would you like to be making? Also, I am pretty proficient with the app. if you had any questions (and surely you will have some) we can make a Beatmaker 2 thread and I can help you out.

True sounds good. Ambient shit? This app is perfect for that. Plus it has hundreds of preset keyboard sounds that would be perfect for it so you are good. Did you get the BM2 promo code?!?!? They just announced one on Twitter.

The experimentation goes only as far as you want it to. Theres several knobs and buttons, amp effects (Chorus, Delay, Bit Crusher, etc.) and other things to make just one sound sound completely different. And you can layer them in with several other sounds that you want to alter too, in addition to the already massive amount of preset levels. I'm not going to lie, if you liked Rap, Techno, and other stuff like that, it would be even MORE worth your money, but that's the fun of this app. You don't have to make ANY kind of specific music. You make what sounds good to you. No one has to tell you what to do and how to make it. It's all just you. Then you share it! But ambient stuff would go very well on this app, since you can do EVERYTHING from the app itself. If that isn't wortht he $20 bucks to you, I probably woulnd't get it. But for someone like me who loves to make all kinds of shit, then it is perfect. Definitely gives you something to do, and I would certainly be interested in what you have to make hahaha. Yeah that sucks. I saw it and was like "Ahhh shit!"

Haha, yeah bro, I'm a junior right now so it feels like forever... I wouldn't kill to go back though. It was an awesome time, but I really just don't feel like dealing with sophmore year all over again... Freshman was a pretty great year though. And my tastes have changed a bit since then too. I used to hate some stuff I love now, and listened to stuff like this... Yeah, not a bad song, but I used to like that stuff a lot back then. Yeah... I changed quite a bit.

Haha, like I said, it's much better. I loved metal and stuff at the time, but I listened to that kinda music too. I go back and listen to a song here and there nowadays, but not as much as I did back in freshman year. Yeah, same story man. Most of the people in my school are into rap or hip hop... Pretty much the local radio crap. I found one good station that plays some good stuff, but no one I know listens to it. I had one friend who was into metal (and actually told me about BtBaM), but he's in college now. My other friend into the same music as me lives in another town, so we only talk about it over facebook. It's such a bummer... I guess there's a lack of taste everwhere.
