Yeah, no offence but you would hate it. There is a rather steep learning curve to it. But, its a learning curve that once you figure out, and the more deeper into it you get, the more rewarding it is. Hell yeah I am! This is my favourite part of making music, is the joy of having new equipment to play around with! Using the new drum machine and making sample beat and chopping them and moving them around is freaking seamless! Looks like they took some notes from ProTools, which is exactly what I wanted. Well... I guess you wouldn't hate it... but it does require an extreme amount of patience. Do you have patience, young Balu`? By the way what does Balu` mean? LOL
Hm, that actually does sound fun. : D Well, some. It really depends on many things. If I love dooing something, endless patience, if not, well no. : DD Reallife nickname. My first name (even though we have reverse name order in Hungary) is Balázs. And just Balu was taken.
It is a blast. It just takes a whole lot less effort to make drum beats now. First you build them, then add what you want on top of that, make it sound as rediculous or simple as you want, and duplicate, move around where you want it, rinse and repeat. Similar to how it was on the first one, but a lot easier. Well this is definitely something to get into and would keep you busy if you are into that sort of thing. Problem being though, is that it is much funner to play along with it, say, on the guitar. That's mainly what I do. But now i can add bass without using my shitty bass guitar! Nice, though I have no idea how to pronounce that. Sounds ultra complicated to me LOL.
Hmm not bad. Yeah, that would probably be better. I do have a cheap acoustic guitar lying down, just can't find that shit that holds down the string. : DD Can't help you here, but it seriously is an easy word. It might still be good. I mean I always liked his clean vocals starting on Reroute to Remain, but that's cause there were always complimented by Screams and Growls. It will definitely be an interesting approach, I just hope it isn't in the direction of the more mainstream value. That would really suck ass. Can't please everyone I guess. I'll wait till they have a demo song up before I start making wild accusations.
You'll definitely hate As Blood Runs Black, but seeing as you like SYL you might enjoy Periphery. You never know. And posting this in class sent our teacher into a 20 minute story about taking some kids phone. Gotta love those teachers.
