Nah I didn't show him SYL. I'm gradually upgrading him. he seems to be going through sort of a mid-life crisis atm. So I am helping him out the best way I can, with good music!

And so many I am sure you wouldn't like! hahahaah. He really liked the Power Metal stuff, he too ins't a huge fan of the un-clean vocals but he did like some of the less-demonic sounding Melodeath LOL. But he clearly favoured the power metal scene much more. He used to be into the 80's power metal shit of his days so I guess in a way he kind of feels at home there. LOL.

By the way, which Sonata Arctica album would you suggest a newcomer?

:DD I guess he liked Strato then.

Winterheart's Guild. Most melodic, best stuff.

He's actually heard of Strato before, and has heard some of their stuff. I just caught him up to date with Elysium. He really liked it though.

Nice, I will DL it immidiately.

Hey guys, anything good for me?

And I was running over old posts on this thread before and came across Roadrunner United again... I'm now hooked on it... Sick stuff right there.

I also just checked out that Eternal Tears of Sorrow song Booch posted before, and it was INSANE. It's exactly what I thought it'd sound like... Gotta love melodeath.

Nice! It's really good so far! I really like it. Very melodic. Great instrumentals, and a pretty damn good singer too.

Sick stuff guys, especially the Kalmah stuff. That was EXACTLY the kind of stuff I'm looking for!

Also, just found out a little-known band I came to like is coming out with a new album this April. Here's one song off their new album:

Unfortunately they don't have my 2 favorites by them on YouTube anymore (well, the used to have one, but it got pulled.) I'll see if I can find any other places to find them online, but so far that's all there is.

: DDD Young yeah, but not little. >.> Hard to put in your idiotic metric system, but I'm about 6'2 and about 200 pounds so yeah, not little. : D

Sounds good. Victoria's Secret (underwear metal powa) and The Cage are the two best off WHG imo, what do you think?

Dude those guys were bad ass! Checking out more from them soon.

Yeah the Metric system is the Devil ^.^

Good f*cking god though dude you're a beast! You're about as tall as my bro-in-law cept he's about 150 lbs heavier than you. It's bad >.> But yeah I redact the "little" comment. *pats the rather large youngin on the head*

The Cage is really good, those key solo's are retarded. LOL

Lemme finish the album though and I will give my fav song. hard to tell so far.
