    hahahaah. Just a thought.

Huh. Yeah most of it is overly simple but there's a few here and there that have great work. Not better than what I normally listen to, but still decent. Then there is also the argument over what's mainstream and what's not. lol but yeah we won't get into that ^.^

    Meh. :>

Agreed, we need a topic change. : D

And love that song too, but right now I'm addicted to Noisy Pink Bubbles by him.

Well, 'least one of them is good. : D

Devin's music is somehow weirdly poppy sometimes though, don't you agree?

    Yup! Be'Lakor! ;)

hahaha I agree dude. I love how he incorporates so much variety in his music, yet in a uniquely organized way. I don't think I know anything that sounds like his music at all. And that's why I am so drawn to it.

Hard to pick. I really love Terria and Infinity, also Synchestra is great, but I love Accelerated Evolution and Ki. Other ones not that much. : D

Btw, Arjen does a similar thing tho, but in a totally different way I think.

Yeah Infinity is my favourite that I have so far. Still have a few stragglers to get but yeah. Thought I'd ask.

And yeah Arjen does do the similar thing. I have to say I like his work a little more than Devin's work but I appriciate them both in the way that they are bothextremely talented and like to make music on their own. Aside from the extremely talented part, they remind me of myself. I hope to become an awesome one man band myself one day and just have other people to work with here and there.

Really? You prefer Infinity to Terria?:x

Yeah, I can't decide who of them I like more. When they are together (few songs on Human Equation), it's brilliant. What other musicians do you respect much too? :>

Also, good luck getting there, it definitely won't be easy.

A little bit yeah. Terria is my second favourite. Both amazing albums though. I still have yet to get Syncestra though, though the songs I have heard from teh youtubez are awesome. There are several other musicians I respect due to their fine work with multiplae groups or themselves. I know you hate him, but I used to Idolize Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails guy). One of the main reasons I went to school for music programming was because of him. Then i learned that I can make better music than he could >.> (well probably not, but you get my idea). But Devin and Arjen have become wayyy up there in the respect/idolization list.

I know it's a long road, but I would really like to get to the end of it someday. Maybe I could collaborate with them! *dreams*

Ah, yeah, they are the two on top of my lists too. Also included are Jens Johansson (easily the best metal keyboardist), Devon Graves (one of my top5 prog geniuses currently, has some amazing albums). :>

    Good luck with that. :>>

Also, Devin has some really weird influences!
Quote from him: "Current playlist is Deadmau5, Alison Krauss, MuteMath, Gojira, Blitzen Trapper, Gyorgy Ligeti, O Brother soundtrack and some of my new stuff"

Yeah Jens is definitely the superior metal keyboardist of all time for me too. Then Wirman. But yeah I agree ^.^

Wow that is one hell of a playlist LOL

Yup, Wirman isn't bad either, too bad he is wasting his talents in CoB.

    Yeah, I was really surprised.

Haha, weird/disturbing album cover, but that is one INSANE song right there. That'll wake you up...

And Balu, that was a ridiculously catchy song you posted there, although looking at dudes in those outfits was... disturbing... But for some reason some of the members of that band kinda look like members of Dethklok from Metalocalypse... I swear, one of the dudes looks just like Toki.

He's fantastic, though I place him in second over Jens for 2 reasons: 1) Jens is obviously better and 2) Wirman's biggest influence in playing IS Jens. lol He is wasting his talent in CoB now. Pre-Are You Dead Yet was awesome, f*cking fantastic metal right there. Post-Are You Dead Yet is garbage. Complete Garbage.

hahahahaah dude when i first heard that song I almost shouted at work "WHAT THE F*CK?!" hahaahahaha it's a total mess of a song, yet brilliant at the same time.
