Ah, sucks. And it sure is for everyone, at least one or two songs. I can't see anyone not liking Ih-Ah or Bend It Like Bender, those have a quite commercial sound.

Well he does have a broad sound of music in a lot of ways. Anyways played her "Ants" at lunchtime and she cracked up and when the song was finished she said "Well I don't know what to do with myself" ahhahaha. When I told her who it was she wasn't mad she just thought for once he had a decent song. LOL

She should have a better taste, seriously. >.>

Anyway listened to that song, it wasn't bad, but meh. The approach to the music (don't have a better word for it) is far too electronic/pop even though it isn't in that genre (just like I can feel the rock/metal influence in some). :/

Well ATB is a techno artist, but he has a couple of his ambient songs per album. One of my favourite (if not my favourite) techno artist of all time. But you hate that stuff ^.^

But that's probably what you hear in it.

Hmm maybe. Still, techno isn't the worst thing ever to happen to music. That would be dubstep. Bah.

hahaahha my little brother and brother in law (Who also happen to like a lot of different kinds of music, though not nearly as in depth as I do) has been making a lot of that kind of music with this beat maker program on their computers. I swear it sounds like a dog getting run over. Or something equivalent to that. It takes like nothing to make that shit. And I love my brothers but when they show me their creations I'm like "Yeah... sounds good *thumbs up*" lol

Ah finally! At least you don't like that. : D

Bah, I seem to only really like ambient music with sime progrock/metal influence. I love Devins ambient stuff, also like Steven Wilson's, but can't really get into any 'real' ambient musician's.

hahahaha yeah but you hate it too ;) so it doesn't count! :D

Yeah I get what you mean. I am really particular with my ambient stuff. I have to really be in the mood. It'll sound grea tto me, but I won't really want to listen to it unless I am like... high or ready for bed. ROFL

Then at least the intros of those songs are good. :>

Ah I hate it when I can understand the lyrics of a song (well, I mean I can understand the words but have no idea what it means), right now Townsend's song 'Dynamics'.

    Fixed.

And yeah I get what you mean. I don't quite understand them either. Like I couldn't even take a stab at it I am that bad with words and meanings. Not as non-sensicle as At the Drive-In lyrics though.

I just want to have basic concept and understnading of lyrics and poetry. My brain doesn't think that way though. It's one of my weaker attributes. It's replaced with music theory though. LOL

    Well he is Canadian.

Wish I knew Hungarian. Seems like a cool language to learn. I used to know a fair bit of german (I was born there and lived there for about 6 years) and I know a decent bit of Spanish, but that's about it.

    Umm so? : D

I like it, but in no way should you try to learn it. It's probably one of the three hardest languages. : D
I'm almost fluent in English, know a little German (probably going to start learning it again, I used to speak it quite good) and I'll have to pick up another language next year...
Sleepin' time here, so goodnight. :>
