Depends on what kind of heavy I want though. I just realized I am not in the mood for Thrash Heavy, need something more slow heavy. Or maybe I'll just listen to some t.A.T.u. or something. ROFL

By all means share, I have several pleasures that I am more than guilty of, but I still share them. And that's with any category of music.

Cause they have songs with the eerie prog rock symph vibe with similar interetsing operatic vocals. Though the guy's vocals in DD are plain scary.

I have to say though, that it is good. Interesting, and odd, but well put together. And eerie which is what I like. Plus theres some E.A. Poe in there. LOL

Yeah, it's quite interesting. I'd classify it as progrock with gothic and classical influences, but it's original as hell.

Also for something weird, Devin Townsend - Ants.

Listened to the 6th, 10th, and 13th song and I am actually impressed. I thought it would be too boring for my ambient tastes, but it's really nice. Something nice to smoke out too LOL

I don't know, but after reading this insert on Wikipedia, I think I too might have a brain disorder if I like so much different kinds of music, and can make so much different kinds of music.

    "Background
After the completion of Strapping Young Lad's extreme metal album City and his solo progressive rock release Ocean Machine: Biomech, Townsend began to approach a mental breakdown. "I started to see human beings as little lonesome, water based, pink meat," he explained, "life forms pushing air through themselves and making noises that the other little pieces of meat seemed to understand." In 1997, he checked himself into a mental-health hospital, where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The diagnosis helped him understand where the two sides of his music were coming from; he felt his disorder "gave birth to the two extremes that are Strapping's City record and Ocean Machine's Biomech."[3]

After being discharged from the hospital, Townsend found that "everything just clicked" and he was able to write his second solo album, Infinity, which he described as "the parent project" of City and Biomech.[3] Townsend returned to the studio, accompanied by drummer Gene Hoglan, to work on the album, on which Townsend played most of the instruments."

And I didn't play the music for my co-workers. I have headphones in so they can't hear anything. They probably would have thought I was crazy. I mean literally, that song was crazy. LOL
