That's some rare type stuff, really don't know anything similar. Estatic Fear is worth a try, they have a lot more symphonic elements tho.
That may not be too bad, but yeah Agalloch is nothing I have ever heard before, and consequently am having the damnest time finding anything that isn't entirely doom metalish. Cause I am not much of a fan of that. Have you played Dungeon Defenders yet?
Yeah, not that big on doom metal either. You should give Estatic Fear a chance anyway, their second album is just beautiful. Nah, planning on getting it tho.

On Chapter IV now. Really good stuff. Not quite as good as Agalloch, but tottally different in music qualities. I really like this stuff too. hahahaha oh yeah area differences.
Nah. Agalloch is much more my style of music However I will say that Estatic Fear has more of a better feel to their music. Like it's so prettyful. Oh yeah LOL. Oh well. I have 23.91 left on my iTunes account, but it's all my wife's iTunes money. And she spends it so slow and sparingly, versus me who could spend $50 bucks worth of iTunes money in like... 10 minutes. I just have to beg her to let me use a few bucks of her money ^.^

Yeah I got nothing for you right now. But if you want some peaceful ambient esque music that is not metal, look up Sigur Rós. That band is very weird and atmospheric. Strange vocals, strange music. Very good for the mind. He even plays a lot of songs on the guitar with a violin bow. LOL

Yeah I first heard them at an In Flames concert. While they were setting up their set, they always play random weird foreign ambient music before their set. It's awesome. This one just stood out for me and I asked about it and they told me. Twas pretty cool that they listen to that stuff (or at least the old guitarist and singer do, dunno about the rest of the band). I had a break for lunch (or what one should consider lunch) so I didn't get to finish the album but I will finish it up soon. About halfway through. It's really good though.
