hahahaah grandpa, f*ck you! Make me feel way older than I already am. Listening to "A Retrospective..." now. The song "The Blue Mist of Night" almost reminds me of "In the Mist She Was Standing" from Opeth's Orchid album. At least the beginnings. Added you back on teh TwittAr.
hahhaha dick. Anyways, yeah its a mega positive, cause it's not like a rip-off or anything it just has that good of a sound. So far I really like this album, a lot more than their older stuff, but their older stuff is stillr eally good. I like these guys. Not much into the doomy stuff, but the folkish vocals make it all the nice on the ears.
Well this isn't the most amazing thing I have ever heard of, but it sure it pretty damn awesome. Might be a little too Speed Metal for you, but man that bass guitar at the beginning is epic. LOL
Ayreon is defintely up there in my favs that you have suggested unto me. Check this out too. Chick isn't too bad. Music is pretty good.
Alright, listened to 'em. First song: Not bad, but you got it right, it's too speed metal. : D Bass is good in the beginning though. Second song: Her voice is just not powerful enough for the music imo, but not bad.
Yeah I agree, she isn't terrible, but the music is so heavy that it just doesn't support her subtlety. Bleh. Try this one out:
