: DDDD Must suck to work sick though. Yeah, I love it too, which is weird because it's not metal at all.
It does. Trust me. Ask me if I have any motivation. lol Yeah your music tastes continue to surprise me as well. lol. Here's something you might like if you have never heard of them. Pretty heavy with a great singer imo
Definitely check it out, you will like it I think. (I think) hahahah cause when all seems that power metal and prog metal are the only things interesting to you, you throw stuff like that Chroma Key at me and I am like "Hmmmm... you like this?" ahahaha
Haha, well, you might hear some more suprising stuff if you want. : D Anyway, you probably won't hear anything from me that's electronic (exclude ambient), pop or any sort of rap/hip-hop. : D
Yeah I know you generally stay clear from all that. I don't generally do pop myself, but I do listen to some old Hip-Hop/Rap. I am very selective of it though. For every one Rap group/Rapper I listen to, I listen to like 25 metal bands. So it's very few and far between lol.
Meh, I doubt I could change your taste so I'll just accept it. >.> Keep an open mind now... Ah, I liked that song, didn't know it. Singer was insanely familiar.
That song was pretty awesome. I felt like I should be eating while listening to it though. Or drinking a Martini. I dunno. Very lounge-ie. hahahah good stuff. Yeah the singer does sound familiar, but it's no one I have heard of really. He is in a couple of other bands but I havn't heard of them.
Yeah, that family knows how to make good music (he is the father of Jens from Strato and Anders from Hammerfall).
Very nice. We often wonder, my wife and I, how our son Ian is going to turn out musically. Cause I mean, we listen to everything around him. Mainly metal stuff when in the car, but I mean talent-wise, is he going to pick up the guitar? He already shows interest in it when I play around him, though it usually results in him wanting to eat the strings and slap them. But he is only 8 months, so I don't expect much more atm ^.^ It's going to be quite cool to see a little Jr. Metal head. I was at a Slayer concert YEARS ago, and there was a little kid there, couldn't have been older than 5 years old, with a Slayer shirt on and he asked me while throwing up the horns "YOU LIKE SLAYER MOTHER F*CKER???" hahahahaah. That's going to be my kid I know it.
It could get much worse than Slayer. Like Deicide, or Cradle of Filth, or even Lil Wayne. ROFL. F*ck Lil Wayne. Anyways. Yeah I don't think I will be taking my kids to concerts at such a young age. My first one was when i was 12, so maybe like 10 with ear plugs, he'll be good. Should be a lot of fun. Plus if he turns out like me, and get's into all kinds of music, I have a concert buddy to go with me to the shows my wife can't stand. LOL. I felt so bad when my wife surprised me with Iced Earth tickets. She had never been to a power/prog metal show before and I don't think she will ever go again. hahahaah
She is the kind that likes to make fun of the way Power metal bands dress. And also thinks that long hair on guys is particularly goofy as shit. While I agree with her 50% of the time, some bands I don't care how they dress. She was pretty much laughing the whole time. XD She likes a few songs from Iced Earth but that's about as far as power metal as she will go. She thinks the music is rediculous. But like I said before, she also thinks that with metal, it should have screaming/growls. And Iced Earth is pretty much absent of that entirely. She thinks bands like Strato, DragonForce, Dream Theater, etc. are effing rediculous hahahah. She does however love Blind Guardian lyrics, cause she is a fantasy nut like myself, especially when it comes to the Lord of the Rings type stuff.
I... don't agree with her. : D Anyway, I like fantasy too, but meh, a song can't really tell a story well imo.
I agree sometimes. Some bands do dress horrifically. And long hair on some guys just makes me want to laugh. But typically I I just fire back making fun of her music or something. Just to piss her off =D Yeah not particularly well, but she does like Poetry, and treats lyrics to some music as such. She is not a huge fan of Opeth at all either, but loves reading their lyrics.
Meh, who the **** cares about hair or clothes? Also, I have long hair too (like I don't care enough about it to do anything with it : DD). Meh, I hate poetry, well, it bores me.
She does so she can laugh at it. She is one of them types =D but like I said I am the same way too, I make fun of some bands and people all the time. Just depends. I can be an asshole, I won't lie. I used to have really long hair myself, showed her a pic of me when I had it. She said it actually looked good on me, but I bet she wanted to laugh hahaahah. I miss my long hair. Oh well, Mohawks ftw. Yeah poetry f*cking sucks. hahahaha
