I'm gunna try and borrow the cord tonight and it shouldn't take more than an hour to get the song just the way I want it recorded (since it's just me and I am recording everything in pieces. One man band ftw!), then the upload process, takes but a few minutes. So I should have it ready and posted later tonight, ready for your willing ears by morning time for you. That's if my brother lets me borrow his cord, which I have no doubt in my mind that he will (He better, I just bought the little bastard condoms, he owes me!)

Mmm, I guess I'll have fun in one of my breaks at school. How I love open WiFi in my school.

EDIT: 45 posts to go for this to be in the top10 longest topics in the lounge. : DD

hahahaha yeah man anywhere with open WiFi ftw. If it's at school, even better. If you will be on your iPod though, you may not be able to listen to it, since I will be uploading it to SoundCloud, unless you have the SoundCloud app (which is Free, I would get it). I can try and upload it to YouTube but I am not sure how to do audio lol

Nice yeah this thread is huge. Metal FTW!

Just add a cover to it, there are some programs to do that. I might just download it tho.

Yeah like I said, SoundCloud is the best for me, easy to use, easy to upload, makes things sound good, and if you are on the computer at SoundCloud.com, you can download the song if the user permits, which I always give the option. I have a few songs on there already, but it's nothing you would like at all. Trip-Hop and Techno stuff that I made when I first got Intua's Beatmaker.

What can I say, I have a lot of pent up music in me and gotta let it out somehow. I actually don't listen to it as much as I like to make it. Not that it is difficult to make. Takes literally no effort to make said music. lol

I can be a surprising guy though

But when i say I listen to everything, I generally mean it. hahaha same goes for the kind of music I make. I can pretty much make any kind of music really. I just can't/won't rap. I can make the music, I just refuse to actually vocalize it. But again, you probably don't care as you hate that stuff ;)

    True, true. I hate that.
But again, I like mainly metal or classical, even some jazz or country here an then, or sometimes folk stuff. Right now I'm listening to a Loreena McKennitt album. : D

Jazz is one of the few things I don't care for in music. I like some bands that can put a Jazzy twist to stuff, but when it comes to like... Saxaphone Jazz... yeah, no it's not for me hahahah.

That bitch can play a mean harp.:D

Jazz is something I have to be in a mood for, but jazz fusion (I'm lookin' at you, Jens Johansson solo stuff) is great always.

    What's your take on country?

Not a fan really. My mum's side of the family, and one my wife's friends only listen to it, so I'm around it a bit when I'm with them. Contemporary Country is really not my thing, but older country/country rock/folkish music is awesome. Like Johnny Cash, Credence Clearwater Revival and Woody Guthrie kind of stuff. I love that stuff.

hahaha I'm tellin you dude, I can at least find one band or group in every genre of music that I can listen to, or at least tolerate. Saxaphone Jazz is 'bout the only music I can't really handle lol. And 99.9% of hip-hop these days. Ugh... don't get me started on that.

Hip-hop is something that is just awful for me. No idea why is that even called music, and the same to pretty much every mainstream music of the last few years.

Yeah music that has been made in the recent years, including some of my most listened to bands for years, is getting pretty awful. I can't count on my fingers and toes how many bands I used to love that have put out completely crap music in any genre. But especially metal. Don't know what has happened. Must be a change in the atmosphere or something. lol

In the last 4 years, Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, Atreyu, Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Children of Bodom, Darkest Hour, Deicide, Kataklysm, Scar Symmetry, System of a Down, Therion, Through the Eyes of the Dead, and Tool (to name ones off the top of my head) have all taken a steep downward climb in great music. Even In Flames released a not so great album prior to their latest release that scared the shit out of me. Come Clarity was not good at all, and sounded terrible. I thought they were going to be destined for failure from then on, but they released A Sense of Purpose and completely redeemed themselves. Now Jesper has left and I am scared once again. But I have faith.

Well, that's quite a lot. Anyway there are evolving bands too at least.

Yeah some bands just take the evolution to a terrible level. I understand their need or want for it, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to sound good. For me, and this might be my age showing a tad, if a band sounds a certain way starting out and I like it, I want to listen to that. That is why I listen to them. I dunno how to explain it. If it aint broke, don't fix it. I don't want shit that sounds all the same, but I don't want shit that sounds completely off base of how they originally sounded. Make sense? Probably not hahahaa

Sorry for the late reply. Internet went out at work for the longest time. Played "Slayers" on the iPod the whole time hahahaah
