And I had heard Trivium and Shadows Fall (and like them both a lot) and had been meaning to listen to Norma Jean and Bleeding Through at some point, so what better time than now?
Definitely man, worth listening to them at any point. Those are just some of my favourite songs from those bands, Trivium I don't listen to passed their first album (kinda got meh for me) Shadows Fall havn't listened to since after The War Within (again, kind of the same old shit) and Norma Jean and Bleeding Through are good but I don't have many albums from them. Still great bands though. Superjoint Ritual on the otherhand, is one of my favourite Punk/Metal bands of all time ahahahahah You god damn mother f*cking son of a bitch.
I didn't think Gothic Kabbalah was all that bad, but it's still no Deggial (my favourite album). What do you think of this song?

Oh there was nothing Melodeath about those particular songs, but I'm sure if I played you the best Melodeath In Flames songs you still wouldn't like em ^.^ But yeah Skyfire is the shit. I really dig them. Starting to like them a tad more than Dark Tranquility too Lmao, that really was... something else. One of the vocalists sounds terrible to me though. Rad music though!
