Knowing your awful taste in music, you would hate them

hahahaha jk dude but alas I walk away this weekend with 2 bands you may like. Probably not, but in your genre anyways.

Like to vocals, not so much the music.

Pretty much agree about the songs here, though I like 'em both.
First one's singer was amazing, wonder why she isn't more known, but the instruments just didn't fit the music I think.
Second one the vocals were awful, instruments were quite good.

Still can't post here on weekends btw?: D

Yeah I dunno, those bands are going to be coming with Blind Guardian in december and I thought I would give them a listen before I saw them to see if I needed to show up late or not ;) Yeah that chick sounds amazing, but the music just seemed to generic for her. And yeah the Holy Grail's vocalist hurt my head. hahahaah

Yeah I can post here on weekends, just not youtube links (easily). But this weekend was filled with food, family, auto repairs, and $.99 app sales to rock my socks off. I spent like $12 on .99 cent apps. Good ones too hahahah good sale this weekend!

Oh my god that was amazing. My dick is so hard for that album already. The whole year of upcoming metal in 2011 as a whole really. *claps excitedly*

By the way in that song, the time signature with guitar and drums starting at 3:34 hurt my head ahhaahahah

I'm telling you man. Pick up an instrument. Harness all that boredem and play along with something fun.

By the way, my laptop cord did get lost in the mail. I had to contact Dell and fuss with them about all kinds of hate I had for them losing my shit. It should be sent soon though. I was so mad hahahaah

Well, good luck on getting that cord. Is the mail there this crappy? : D

Picking up an instrument would be good, I couldn't say a good one is cheap of any.

No generally. I usually have decent luck with mail, but this is the first time in eons that the U.S. Mail service and screwed me in the butt.

What do you mean? Yeah a decent guitar isn't cheap but will last you a long time. I would suggest Ibanez RG series. It's all I play ATM but Schecters are amazing as well. I want the Schecter that Mikael Akerfeldt plays. ^.^

Well, that's still better. Our mail pretty much sucks. : D

Yeah, but I tend to get bored of most things after a short time. >.> Also, I don't really have an income, so I have no idea how I could get enough money.
Though, how much is a cheap but decent one? :D

You could get a Series 2 Epiphone Les Paul Guitar (great for all kinds of music) or an RG Series Ibanez (great for all kinds of metal) for $200 USD. I don't know the currency system in Hangary (shame, I know) so yeah. There's cheaper guitars, but I wouldn't go any cheaper than that. Then you can just buy a shitty little practice amp with built in distortion for like $50.

Hmm, I actually have that much right now, the amp is a different thing though. If I get one, really not sure what kind to get.

(And the currency here is Forint (HUF), exchange rate is about 215 HUF = 1 USD.) : DD

Yeah currency exchange is out of my expertise hahaha. A little practice amp from like... Peavy or Line 6 would be ideal. Ranging from about $50-$100 bucks. I would suggest Line 6 (the cheapest and smallest about $100) just cause it's worth it to get a good practice amp even though its for practice. Plus Line 6 has my personal favourite built in distortion. It's what I use personally. Perfect for any kind of metal.

Sounds fine, not every metal has disorted guitars though

Too bad I don't know anyone with something similar so I could try it out.

True, but 95% of it should. I mean that's what makes metal for me afterall. I mean it's of course awesome to have clean guitars and other effects, but if all of your music is clean, that's not metal. lol. I don't consider Damnation from Opeth a metal album, doesn't mean it wasn't effing awesome. It just wasn't metal. hahahaha

    Just watch this
The song(part) in the beginning is awesome, and not disorted. : D
