I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment too. It's been so long since I found an album and fell in love with it. I'm gonna have to revisit past favourites to try and cheer myself up.
I think a lot of us are in that boat. I've been listening to all my music again since I got a new iPod, and it's nice. But nothing really new. Waiting for new In Flames and Opeth. *panties wetten in anticipation*

Ah, right. Both are far superior to "mainstream" progmetal like DT I think. : D Anyway, quite many albums I'm waiting for. Symphony X, Strato, Opeth, Symfonia, Falconer, Evergrey, the two Townsend albums comming next spring and probably a lot more.
Yes the coming year should gift us with many treats in the metal community. Here's hoping anyways. ^.^
Agreed. The only bad thing is that I'm currently in a Blind Guardian mood for since this years album, and they only release albums every 4 year. And I don't know any similar bands.
They are truely a rare breed of music. Can't say I know anything about a band similar to them either. Fortunately I get to see them live in a few weeks. I'm so excited!

Yup, it's the (now ex) band of BG's old drummer with Persuader's vocalist. Not bad, but obvious BG ripoff.
