Nothing at the moment. Havn't delved into new bands a lot recently. Been working on a little project of my own =P
It's odd. Somewhere between Death-Prog-Melodeath. There's a lot of Opeth and Death influences. But theres also some speed metal thrown in. It sounds like a bastard child at the moment but I'm in the early stages of getting things together. It's only me, so I gotta write everything just right. Especially the drums with mein drum machine.
This does sound strange, I don't even have a band I could compare it to after this decription. : D Good luck tho.
Neither do I. If i could pull it off, bonus points for me. Namely doing it cause i enjoy writing fun music. And so far I am having lots of fun. Good midnight-can't-sleep-a-wink project. Still no laptop cord though, so I am writing drum material and working slowly building off of that. Still deciding if I am going to use keys too.
They are for me too, which is why I am more than likely going to use them in the finishing production. I'll get a couple demo songs and send em your way and you can tell me what you think. Havn't thought about vocals either, but it will probably be Opeth-ie. Clean and Harsh vocals though I suck at clean vocals and am in no way a lyricist.
learn an instrument and we can internationally form a collaboration band. It'll totally work I promise.
: DDD I doubt making music is anything for me, I don't really have any talents/skills in that field. I can play simple songs with a few chords on a guitar, that's it. : D
It starts with a chord and ends with a masterpiece. But if it isn't your thing it isn't your thing I was more or less kidding but yeah. I love making music. It's like pent up energy to me, I gotta release it with all kinds of musical tastes. I can be a ticking time-bomb if I don't grab a guitar or piano once in a while
Haha, I couldn't imagine myself like that. But maybe that's just I'm too lazy to learn any instrument and metal isn't the kind of music one can make using a computer only.
Yeah computer only metal is unheard of. lol. Man I am so into In Flames' "Whoracle" album today. Good stuff.
Yeah it's my second favourite album from them. Very melodeath. I wish they still made music like this. While I love their new stuff, it just doesn't beat the good ol days. I'm nervous about their latest album for next year, since they don't have Jesper on guitars anymore. Scary
