But you like some prog! And this is one of the biggest masterpieces of our, still young, century. At least in metal. :x

    Who wants more melodeath!?

Uncreation - Burning Blood is one hell of a great album. It sounds like a mix between seemingly spontaneous DT melodies and the catchiness of In Flames riffing.

Not yet. I've been pretty busy with stuff, pretty much forgot about it to be honest.

Some stuff I heard you might like:

Lol heard that and liked it :p

*Edit: I'm not really into that type of death metal now. I prefer something that sounds more like these:

    How true. :D

Check out any song from their album Empiricism. It's... good. I'd call it folk/black metal with some prog influences, you'd probably call it melodic black. :X

I've been listening to mostly Black Metal/Shoegaze lately, and also some avant-garde metal when im in the car.

    Some particular favourite songs atm:
Liam - When Hills Call Back
    Les Discrets - Chanson d'Automne
Winterfylleth - A Valley Thick With Oaks
    Alcest - Autre Temps
    Apokatastasia - Schizophriend
    Shining - Exit Sun
    Arcturus - Nocturnal Vision Revisited
    Mr. Bungle - Quote Unquote

Currently I'm completely hooked on "Heavy Kingdom" by Saint Vitus singer Wino and German singer/songwriter Conny Ochs. The whole album's just these two guys with acoustic guitars, so it's not a metal release per se, but since it features one of the most iconic metal frontmen of all time, I think it fits in here nevertheless. The songs are really powerful and both Wino and Conny's got incredible voices!

Simple recording of me and my cousin's song we have going now. Still figuring out some of the keys and such. It's good to mention that we were both extremely intoxicated recording this, so don't expect any neatness. In 1-2 weeks I get a gnarly tax return back, in which I will be buying the full version of Protools. I'm so ####ing excited.

As for my absence, which the Metal Thread regulars are sure to ask about, I am not going to even begin to explain. All I can tell you, is that I am alive. And that's all that matters. Heh...

I will also be posting regularly starting Monday again.

Also, I have not one drop of new music to suggest anyone really, but I will try and dig something up in time for my return.

Not bad at all.... I just didn't like the part at around 2:30, the drums ruined it for me. Still, promising! :>
    How much is that?

    Maybe some explanation?:Đ

    Sounds good!

It's alt gr + D for me, but Hungarian keyboards are a little different.

    How do you like this?

    Finished listening to the song.

It's... lemmes just start by saying that it sounds GREAT (musically) but it's sound is quite lacking (I'm sure you've noticed that yourself :p).

I like pretty much everything about the song (musically). The instrumental work is neat, esp the slow-yet-melodic guitar and piano/keyboard melodies. Da drum work is awesome too.

About the song at 2:30. I do not echo Balu's opinion >_< because the drum work is great, but the guitar is too soft during that section. Still, it does sound good and can be considered as a good drum solo :D.
