hahahaha I still have to learn that so we can talk crap to people in hungarian! haahahahaha

That's a good one too, I also really like "Minden test fű" (obviously the fastest song on the album) but yeah. I also really enjoy the subtly of Kő koppan. It's a really cool song. I really like this album though, I've enjoyed earlier stuff from them here and there, but nothing as much as I do this album.

Hungarian is said to be the 3rd hardest language in the world, I think, so good luck! :ĐĐ

Yeah, that one was too fast for me. Well, too blackish. Anyway it really is an amazing album, I especially like the slower, classicalish/electronic tracks. :>
Róka Hasa Rádió is just as great, though.

Well lah-dee-dah don't you think you are special? ahahahaha I can see that though. Too many things in the wording alone that hurt my head >.<

hahaahah yeah... It was a little weird compared to the rest of the album but it reached to my core roots. hahahaha. But I do prefer the rest of the album though, as good as the song was, and I am glad it was last. Though I didn't like how it ended (funny thing to pick at, I know). It was just... abrupt. heh.

It's the grammar part where English (or any other language I've encountered) is a lot easier. :x

I'm pretty sure that ending was intentional. And yeah, it was not bad as a closer, it does disrupt the relaxed mood of the album, though.

Hmmmmm. English is pretty much silly. hahahaha

Oh I am sure it was, and yeah it did kind of disrupted the feel of it, since it was vastly different, but yeah a good closer for me. Like I said, that abrupt ending was just peculiar hahaha,

Oh my god.... this Theocracy is amazing.... I am only like 2/3rds into "I Am" and my god... it's relentless. The lyrics are amazingly perfect, the guitars are amazing, the songwriting is just fantastic. Can't wait for the rest of the album.

Just woke up. Damn I overslept by half an hour due to some pretty damn wet and raining weather (and it's at late spring/start of summer here in Australia). Bad thing is, it's Wednesday here when schools have sport so, since we can't play in the rain, lessons are lengthened to normal day periods :(. Can't go home early today .

Anyway, melodeath? Did you listen to Smargroth's Empyreal Cycle that I recommended some time ago (days?)? That's pretty good.
If you're really desperate for melodeath, I guess I can recommend Zonaria's Infamy and the Breed. A review in Sputnik gave it a 3.5 and compared it to Hypocrisy but I found the lack of melodies to be quite boring for the genre. There's also a lot of heavy and brutal riffing that makes the album sound like metalcore/heavy metal.

As for closers, I usually prefer Devin's closing tracks, especially on the older albums. They just leave me in a good mood, no matter how strange or disturbing some tracks on the album were.

I knew you'd think that! Glad you like it, and I do think it'll get better. I'm on track 4 right now.

hahahaah yeah it's been raining here pretty crazy too. I like dark and gloomy days.

I did listen to Smargroth's EC, and it was good, but had too much Black Metal influence in there for me. Not to say it was unwelcomed, just a little too much for my Melodeath tastes. I also listened to The Arrival of Necrotronian, but it wasn't as good as the latter album. Also, I have both of Zonaria's albums. They were actually one of the first Melodeath bands I got into back in the day next to In Flames/At the Gates/Dark Tranq. They have a lot of Blackish influence to them too, but I like it. They aren't my favourite, but I do like them.

It's definitely not easy, I do sometimes succeed with some obscure Eastern-European bands. :p

Hey booch have you heard Dominia? (melodeath). I'll shell out a few megabytes to listen to their albums if you haven't.

Actually, not really It's just that for some reason bands from around here don't usually make it to success, so in a way, it does.

It matters to me not in the least bit, but yeah. I have an extensive Melodeath catalog. ^.^ I just always have this insatiable hunger for more. Not just Melodeath, any genre of music really, I just like hearing Melodeath I have never heard before. haahahaha

HELL YEAH!!!! I have their Divine Revolution album. They are awesome, but a little more like Melodic Doom Metal. They have some death-ie riffs for sure and have some tempo to their songs, and definitely have a unique Melodic sound, but yeah. They are awesome. Haven't heard them in YEARS. Completely forgot about them!

Well, why don't you occupy yourself with their albums for today while I spend the rest of your night (right?) searching for more melodeath? :D

Just giving ya a list of potential melodeaths I found, sure don't want to recommend anything spectacular only to know that you've already listened to it :p

    Fractal Gates
myGRAIN - I'm currently loving this one to hell! Haven't completed my first listen but it sounds like melodeath with a lot of symphonic elements plus... Balu might like this... CLEAN VOCALS!!! (that actually sound AWESOME). Hey wait... I assume you've already listened to this right?

Yeah we unfortunately already know myGRAIN, though I don't remember if Balu` actually liked them or not. I however, didn't really care for them (Vocals ruined it for me).

But yeah like I said, it doesn't hurt to tell me of Melodeath bands I have already heard of... sometimes I haven't listened to them in several months, so the memory will make me go back to them ^.^

There are definitely many gems out there that I am always seeking.

I will have to check that out! :>
I've tried them before, but was turned off by the harsh vocals. I hope I'll like 'em now.:>

Hey what's with the silence?

Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed to say that none of the bands that I tried in my previous post managed to impress. Sorry Booch, can't help ya acquire 'new' melodeath albums :(

On a different note, I did expand my symphonic collection. The additions contained the better known bands of the genre including Within Temptation, (didn't like Epica), Fairyland (gay name, nice bombast symphonic sound though) and Crysalys (operatic symphonic metal!), Shade Empire and Illnath.

Looks like we've dug up almost all the good stuff about metal huh?
