Alright. A busy workday is never good...

Haha, it really is interesting. Do you think it's at all similar to Mechanical Poet?
And yeah, it's not a bad album, Blind Tom Alley is my favorite on it. :x

That wasn't my plan, but yay! And glad you like it, I just found it in a few minutes (excluding listening to a few songs from them) when you wanted one. :x

Agreed. Same concept with school :(
    Hm... melodeath?

Oh and I just discovered a funeral doom band Esoteric. Their new album Paragon of Dissonance is coming out in 2 days and it costs $35.99 with 7 songs in Aus iTune store
Any idea why it's so expensive???

Haha, yeah, my schooldays can get pretty busy sometimes too.

Not at all. It's industrial/alternative/progressive. Worth a listen, though!

That looks like a mistake on their part.. let's hope it'll get fixed.

That's probably a combination of my most avoided genres... (yup, I avoid them)

Yeah I just checked some sites, the album can't costs more than $21.99 for Aus store. Hell, it costs $19.99 USD so there's gotta be a mistake...

Oh and it sounds pretty, depressing and emotive...
Here's a link to the track Cipher.

Ah, come on! It's really interesting stuff, you might like it. :>

It'll probably be fixed by the time it comes out, I guess. Apple rarely makes mistakes like this from my experience. (It's €19 here)

Doesn't sound bad, but I'm not a huge fan of the genre. Season of Mist releases good stuff usually, so no surprise about the quality. :>
Here's a new Thy Catafalque track from them, with the album releasing in 3 days. Gotta promote them, few good Hungarian bands out there. Check out for some good black metal(-ish music): [link]

Can yu give me a link to a Luna Damien song or something? The Google and youtube search results seem quite random.
    ---------------------------
I discovered this Eternal Gray band's Your Gods, Our Enemies. Sounds like a trash + melo death type mixed genre affair. Just started listening to it, it's very intense and fast, that's for sure.

Any of you guys like trash metal?

All I can help with is a download link to their album, it's pretty much impossible to get anywhere. :<

I'll check them out tomorrow, I think, if the other songs you find by them are good too. :>

Not a big fan of it, a bit too agressive and not melodic enough for my taste. I do enjoy it on rare occasions, though. If I want something similar to it, most times I just go with some speed metal

I like some thrash metal lol.

Also I don't think Luna Damien sounds much like MP, at least enough to make me want to make a huge comparison.

    WORK WORK.

Haha, I do hear some similarities. They're both really, hm, unusual as far as vocal melodies go. Plus I can hear the composer's style evolve from early MP to late MP to this. Maybe evolve isn't the best word here, since it didn't actually get better, just different and probably more commercial.
And I just have to say this: I like Luna Damien a lot more since I've seen the album cover. That owl is awesome.

Any news on the Garageband front?:X

Yeah I guess now that you point it out i can see some similarities, like i said, just not a whole lot to make a decent comparison. You have probably listened to both of them a hell of a lot more than I have to make that call though ^.^

I will have it Thursday. ^.^

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!! I'm so agitated!!!

I'm listening to Callenish Circle's This Day You Regret from Pitch.Black.Effects and I swear its riff is very similar to those on another song, probably from Arsis, but I just can't figure it out!!!

    Any help guys? :(

MP probably a lot more, yeah. Luna Damien not that much, though. I'm pretty busy with other music lately. :x

    That sure sounds good. :>>
Tried it, but it didn't remind me of anything I've heard before.

Lately, hm.. Bunch of Coil, Flashbulb, Kauan, some of the new Arch/Matheos album, plus some Cynic (new EP out a few weeks ago), some Falconer, some Royal Hunt, some Type O Negative. Plus a lot more. :x

You have been more busy now than before, but I still hope you'll have some easy days at work. :x Plus, y'know, I wouldn't mind trying it either. >.<

Sounds awesome. While working (when I am able to listen to music) I've been listening to a lot of In Flames, Dream Theater, Be'Lakor, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Noumena, and Septic Flesh, but more so than anything, I have just been throwing the shuffle switch on my iPod and letting that take the reigns. It's so weird that you ended up liking Type O for the most part. They are great. hahahaah, they also pulled off one of the best Label heists ever.

Yeah work has been killing me man... I never mind at all having things to do, don't get me wrong, it passes the time by rather quickly. But when I am overwhelmed it's just flat out stressful. Not to mention my home life is just getting worse and worse back and forth. I don't know where I would rather be anymore. Well, not really, I'd much rather be home lol. Tomorrow when I pick it up (If I pick it up, it's about a 95% chance I will lol) I will message you on Twitter or on here (depending on how much time I can get on the net with) and let you know when you can DL it.

I pretty much never use shuffle, I need music that fits my mood. :x
It was pretty hard to get used to the singer, but they really are good. What do you mean by label heist?

Yeah, that does sound bad. The bad thing is that I can't see a solution for your stuff. :c
    Thanks for that!

Man, this is the most passive-aggressive thread ever. Enough "Meh" and ">_<" in here to please any 2011's-style, internet-cultured 12 year old!

Sometimes I don't know what I want to listen to, thus, shuffle breaks that mold. lol

In 1991-1992 Type O Negative was asked, and paid $1,000,000, to make a live album, and the 1Mil was supposed to be used for production assistance, sound equipment, recording stuff, etc. Well they instead bought a million dollars worth of cases of Vodka, and spent months in Peter Steele's basement piss drunk, recording a "live" album. By "Live" I mean they rerecorded songs to sound live, and dubbed over a fictitious crowd in the background, with banter, talking, cheering, etc. They even went as far as to stopping in the middle of song because the "Venue got a bomb threat called in" LOL and thus, "The Origin of Feces" was born. Quite a awesome theft of 1 Million Dollars. Quite a waste on what it was spent on =/ hahaahahah

    ORLY?

This thread is basically the outlet of bullshit, music, and bile spilled into the seeping cracks of a broken giraffe's tail.

So what? Smilies are the only even half-decent way of expressing feelings on a subject online without a huge wall of text. You've got a problem with that? Oh well, if this bothers you, I'd suggest you stop using the internet this second. :)
    Hah, that sounds awesome. :Đ
Well, not as much the drinking that much part, as the idea, but it really sounds like they were.. creative guys. :x

He just doesn't realize that we metal heads have a thick exterior, but are all babies on the inside. ^.^

Yeah it was hilarious to me. Best idea ever. The best part is (and you should listen to it if you haven't) they really didn't try at all to make it sound convincing. They just blatantly blew Roadrunner off hahaahahaha.
