Dude, when I was like... 12, I jammed the SHIT out of this CD and played Phantasy Star online for the Dreamcast endlessly. It was actually one of the few (if not, ONLY) Poppy-Dancie albums I ever got into. But it wasn't untill recently that I rediscovered it. I've listened to it a few times since those days, but yeah. It's a tough concept to grasp. I don't know why I find doomy and gloomy, dark and omniscient shit to be so enjoyable. So bad, that I used to write it on my hands with a sharpie marker everyday in High-School (on fingers below the knuckles, like where a ring would go). hahahah... I love them. hahaahahaa that sound's about right honestly. I have no idea what i would call it. It's obviously classically trained electronica, but it's jazzy (in a good way, as I am not much of a jazz fan at times). And there are definitely some post-rock influences. It's a grand conjuration of all those things, it a nice and beautiful way to digest. Awww you lovers me don't you? You long to see my posts everyday, crying if they are absent. I like them, don't get me wrong, they always had a nice Melodeath Sound, but I swear the singer sounds like like a mixture between the singer of Disharmonia Mundi, Older (much older) day Anders Friden (In Flames/Ceremonial Oath) and the singer of Kreator ahhahahaha. I love it though. Music is okay, brings nothing new to the table other than Sweep Picking, which is rare in Melodeath, but does the tried and true very well. Edit: Speaking of Disharmonia Mundi; What do you think of them? Awesome Italian Melodeath imo.
