I liked them all in their prime. Let's just say that. LOL No, you have to agree with me. Otherwise I will find you, and destroy you mercilessly.
Nah, I just can't agree with that statement. That closest thing I like to punk is probably early Swans, which has post-punk roots, but that's it. Punk is way too simple.
I know I was more or less joking. Punk is definitely not for everyone. I really love it though, several breeds of it as well. It gets me going that's for sure. Bah! It's so good! Most of it anyways. There are bands that just... suck. Badly.
Haha, it's the kind of music, that I can even enjoy when it's on somewhere, but I wouldn't listen to it on purpose. So it isn't that bad. >.>
Gotcha, and yeah probably not the time for this. It is a little punky, but I dunno. It's good though. Just wanted to see your thoughts on it.
Ian McKay's voice does take some getting used to. His first band (Minor Threat) was a much more faster punk band, and then he grew up into Fugazi (whom I like a lot more, not that Minor Threat was bad). I used to be real into them back in the day. Worth checking out the album "13 Songs" if interested, if only to add to your ever growing catalog of music. ^.^
I know you aren't a fan of Deathcore at all Balu`, but check this song out. This is some interesting stuff... Very catchy for me. Especially the breakdown at the end with the orchestral stuff. Makes for fun Deathcore rather than just the same ol bullshit.
I might check that out. :>> This was pretty interesting. I really liked it until the vocals came in... I'd love this with some Blind Guardian-like vocals.
Sweet! Yeah I definitely agree there, more agressive style-Hansi vocals would have been perfect with the guitars tones down slightly in distortion. Then I guess that would totally rape it of being Deathcore wouldn't it? HHAHAHAHAHA. I like some Deathcore but I am not a huge fan of it. However, like we were saying yesterday, a touch of symphonic elements makes anything just a little more interesting. hahaahaha.
Well, most things. Dimmu Borgir sucks no matter how much orchestrations they use. Speaking of BG, they just announced yesterday that they are working on an orchestral project with a German fantasy writer.
hahahahaha you have a good point. ORLY?! That's pretty damn awesome. I just hope we will see a new album or something before 2015.
That's great news! I hope it does fall in that timeline then. been listening to Sonata Arctica a lot this morning. Trying to stay happy and positive! It's a good day, and I have plenty of work to keep me busy. Should go by fast.
Yes. It is a good thing. ^.^ Nice! That is good news! Can't wait to check out that acoustic album!!!!
