hahahah it's all good dude, I can wait till tomorrow. :D

Ouch. Well speaking from experience, cheap ass netbooks are slower and more frustrating than balls. hahahaaha. Mobility is nice... but at the cost of waiting 30 minutes for your computer to start, not my choice (Ok, not 30 minutes... but close). What games are you worried about not being able to play? You going to get Diablo III? :D:D:D:D

I've got my eye on a decent looking one (HP dm1z), that everyone says is pretty fast.
No idea, I just like having option, and with a desktop, I can upgrade stuff in it anytime, with a laptop, not so much..
I don't plan on getting it - haven't played the first two either. :X

That's cool. I'll have to check it out. As long as it has somewhat decent specs, then you're good. That's hard to come by on the cheap though, then again its been a while since I have actually looked hahaha.

You haven't played... Diablo..? Or Diablo II?!?!?!!.............

    ...........

The f*ck is wrong with your dude? Get off of this, go to your nearest 24 hour market that sells media, fins the Diablo Battlechest, and go f*cking play that shit RIGHT NOW.

Meh, it's a tough decision - probably just buying a PC would be enough for a while, but since I can't get a job or anything, I wouldn't have the moneyy to buy the other one anytime soon..

    Umm. It's 1AM. Also, why?>.>

Yeah that is a tough call. Ultimately the portability of the laptop will overcome all, but I think you would spend a hell of a lot more time on a desktop... it's just the fact that you won't be able to bring it around lol.

I know it's late... but trust me. It's the best Action RPG known to man. LOL

Well at least for me. I played the living shit out of that game. I grew up with that stuff. You might think it's not that good though considering it's age and... well... your age. But you tend to like good stuff, and this is QUALITY gaming material right here. I love the Diablo Series. III looks great, but the more news that comes out for it... the more it seems to make me want to play it less. Thank you Blizzard for ruining my childhood dreams.

So, what would you suggest? Since I have a very limited budget..
The solution so far seems to be to buy a desktop and a really big backpack. >.<

There are really few actions RPGs I could enjoy.. I'm having fun with Torchlight, which is supposed to be similar to Diablo, but I don't play it that much. I need a story in my games.

What news are those? The real life money trading? That one seems to be really positive for me.
What's better than having tons of fun with a game? Making money while doing so.

Get a damn good lappy and wait for a few years to upgrade again. That's my honest suggestion.

never played Torchlight. But Diablo is top notch, there minimal story sure, but everything about it is great. I am a loot-whore and that's the name of the game. hahahaha

Sure, I just don't want to it to get ridiculous... I've been reading more and more into it and it seems more and more positive to me than negative, I am just afraid somewhere in there Blizz is going to F*CK IT ALL UP!!

I am more pissed about no mods or bots really. Name more angry over no mods than bots. I can do without Bots, mods I really liked in D1 and D2.

So, give me a few damn good laptops, then. :>
I couldn't find any that were good enough.

You should really try Torchlight. Judging from your post, you'd love it.

Haha, that sure is a possibility.

Meh, it can't be that bad.

In my ever present desire to represent older than most metal fandom, here is the your Pre-1980 metal post.

    :)

    Enjoy.

There are some things I am just truly too young to enjoy. This is one of them. hahahhhaahah  <3

In any event, I am past my Ayreon addiction and onto my new addiction again: Chiptune.

@the_kernel: That was actually pretty good. >.<

@Booch: To be honest, if all chiptune is like this song, it's probably the worst genre ever. Horrible shit. >.<

Also, the band I was talking about:

Nah there are several different sub-genres of Chiptune, this kind just happens to be my favourite. I am really sorry if you think it's the worst genre ever (especially in the eyes of Dubstep lol) but to each his own. I freaking love it. Like a lot. Been getting more and more into lately.

Euphoreon was fantastic, harsh vocals were a little hard to get used to, but fit well after a second of hearing them. Music was great! Karlahan was f*cking beast though. I really liked that shit. However, not entirely sure why you liked it. Didn't sound like something entirely you would enjoy. Some of their riffs reminded me of a cleaner more defined older Bodom.

Meh. Dubstep is worse, but this is pretty bad. I mean, for old videogames, it's fine, but listening it alone... nope. >.<

Haha, I rarely know why I like stuff, but it was good. It was far better than Bodom, that's for sure.
Euphoreon would be perfect without harsh vocals, though. :|

Yeah Dubstep is terrible. That's why I like it so much! I love old video games, I grew up with them, and the sound tracks stay with me in my heart always. And to hear music similar to that is just freaking awesome to me hahha

hahaahah, I will always have a place in my heart for old Bodom, but this was far better ^.^
And I actually agree. When the harsh vocals came in I was like "Hmmmm... could have... done with...out...." hahaahaha

I guess that makes sense, but I still don't really understand it.. meh. >.<

    Yay!
It's really rare that we agree on the harsh vocal subject. :>

So, got anything like Mechanical Poet for me? I can't get enough of Woodland Prattlers.

I think it also may be a generational thing though as well. 8 and 16 bit music is embedded in my brain and has been since I was like... 4 or 5. So yeah. lol.

It is rare, but I have to concur. It would help if the harsh vocals were actually better >.<

I happen to think they came from a different dimension where that music only exists in the future and they were sent back in the past and our dimension to give us a taste of what that music could sound like. Cause I don't think any other such bands or artists exist. hahaahaha

I don't see what's wrong with the harsh vocals there.. they're just unusual.

Aw, too bad. No matter how much I look for similar stuff, no matter where, I can't find anything that's actually like it. :|

It's not that they are bad or anything, they are really unusual. I don't know what it is about them. *shrugs*

Thus proving my outlandish theory further ^.^

Meh. I'm not a big enough fan of harsh stuff to tell the differences between the types. :>

Stop making theories and go lookin' for more music like that! :[]

My computer dilemma is getting worse and worse. I managed to put together a desktop that was pretty much perfect, for a reasonable price (like $700 or so).
