Yeah I get you. And you are right... accents are regional everywhere. Most foreign ones aren't bad to me though, but there are a few that do get to me. LOL Yeah I can truely never be to sure. but I have a funny feeling you will really like that MGMT song. It's loads of fun and happiness...
Meh, it can't get any worse than a strong French accent. We'll see, I sure hope I'll like it, happy music is always good.
I don't think there is anything we could agree on more Balu`. I just don't. hahaahahah "You sound like a dog with peanut butter on the roof of his mouth!" Only one way to find out... FIRE UP THE COMPUTER AND LISTEN TO IT NOW!!! ahahahah nah don't do that. In the off chance you don't like it, I would feel bad that you got up and did all those steps to hear a song you didn't like. hahaahah
I knew you'd back me up on this. D You're not very patient, are you?:x Anyway, you'll have to wait till tomorrow, I'm too tired to stare at the computer screen. Do you know Uaral?
Any day of the week brotha. No... sadly. I am kind of an instant gratification guy. lol. Uaral? Can't say I know of them. What are they/it?
Pretty hard to describe. Neofolk, but with some growls and some doom metal influence. Interesting stuff.
Well that sounds like a joyous time! I'm in. Will check them out later tonight after some Harry Potter. Also, I am getting my fat ass to a gym. Anyways, I am off for the time being. Gotta run some errands. Talk to you tomorrow duder!
Uaral. freaking. owns. I loved it, listened to a lot last night. And searching around for their stuff lead me to these guys somehow. I think you will really like it, nice ambient music if you have never heard of him: Let me know what you think. Did you check out that MGMT song too?
Yay! And this wasn't bad, pretty minimalistic for the most part, though. That song wasn't bad. The Ratatat one was pretty horrible, though. >.> That industrial rockish one wasn't that bad either. What did you think of Dead Can Dance?
Sweet. Glad you didn't think it was all awful at at least. hahaha Well I listened to the first 3 songs from "Within the Realm of a Dying Sun" and I gotta say... I really gotta be in the mood for it. It's not that it was bad at all... but World Music is something else for me, and I am kind of new to it in general. Definitely something to get used to hahahaa
Well yeah, that's something. >.> Mm, I listened to the whole thing y'day night, it's really awesome music for the later hours. And how is this world music? >.< It's neoclassical, something folkish, but not at all world music imo.
I dunno, I just got that vibe from it jusding from the songs that I heard. Sure it's Neoclassical and a tad folkish (maybe a little more than a tad) but I dunno. /sucksatnaminggenres Like I said, it was far from bad, just definitely gotta be in the mood for it. And it seems like all I have been in the mood for lately is prog metal/rock. hahahaha
Yeah, genrenaming sucks. Just that when I hear world music, mind goes to Enya. And it's kinda different. >.< That's weird. Or is it weirder than there are times when my playlist is Loreena McKennitt, Dev - Deconstruction, Falconer and Epica?
ROFL. Yeah no, definitely not Enya in any way shape or form. hahaahaha Enya is much better. JK Dude I am not going to lie. Other than a few songs here and there of different bands, I just cannot stop listening to Ayreon and Dev. More Ayreon than Dev. Like I don't get it. I've always liked Ayreon since you have shown me The Human Equation, and I've always listened to it from time to time. But lately... it's like... all I can listen to. It's really weird. I am just at a spot in my musical life where that's all I want to listen to. I will listen to other stuff when it is on, or when my wife wants to listen to something else, but literally. When i get to work I just put on his albums. Weird?
Haha. Though the thing is, I don't have any real problem with her either. >.< It sure is. I haven't been hooked on any band that much for a long, long time. But then again, it isn't bad either. >.>
*cough* neither do I *cough* NEITHER HAVE I! That's the weird thing for me I guess. Is that I can usually get hooked on a genre, but I have straight been listening to Ayreon with a little bit of Townsend here and there. Like I said, unless my wife is listening to something, or I am in my car (My ipod adaptor broke so I have to rely on lame CDs), all I have been listening to is Ayreon. It's great music, but a little worrysome I guess. I don't want to get burned out, and usually by now I would be burned out and move onto something else, but right now I haven't. >.<
Meh, what's your problem with her?>.< Haha, interesting. At least you don't have the problem that you don't know what to listen to. Bah, I'm thinking about getting a new computer.. mine is getting pretty old.. but it'd cost all my money. >.<
hahaahaha I don't have a problem with her! The problem lies with the fact that her music makes me feel totally homosexual. That's right, homosexual. True, never thought of it that way lol. Finally broke away though and listened to some Kalmah. Yeah I hate buying new rigs... I always feel like I am dumping too m uch money into it getting it the way I want and such. I seriously need a new laptop myself. But don't want to spend any money or anything (not that I really have the money to spend LOL)
That sounds weird.. why is that?>.< Wow, that's worse. :X Yeah.. I'm still not sure if I should get a laptop or a PC... whichever, it's cost at least $600 (which I do have, but don't want to spend it all).
