I'm alive!!!!!! *flexes* Week has been insanely busy with meetings and such at work. Fun stuff!!! Anyways, the usual, nothing new. My weekend was entirely consumed by my poor sick family. Wife has some bladder infection and my son had an ear infection. I thought we were all going to have to get carted off to the ER this weekend >.<

It definitely is interesting music, worth checking out more. I really liked it, the metal is pretty much gone from it, though. Hmm, my weekend was nothing special.. the weather is crappy, so we're ending this "vacation" next week. >.>

Within the Realm of a Dying Sun is a good place to start. 'Least they do new stuff, not just use a formula for all their songs like many do. It isn't that bad, I like this place too. But I can do more stuff at home (like, I've been trying to get myself to play guitar, and here, there's absolutely no chance of that happening, since it isn't here, while at home, I only have to get strings >.>).
Sounds good. I will have to check it out and download it when I get home. Yeah... but they proved they can do different stuff with lots of songs within albums, and with Damnation to me. I knew this song was going to have clean vocals from the beginning, but this is just... just boring jazzy riffraff. I like it, it's okay to listen to. But It's just... not holding my attention. It may be because there is little to no metal in there, I am not afraid to admit that. I am trying to have an open mind but.... yeah I dunno. lol Yeah you definitely need to get some strings. Gotta get down on that guitar and become a rock n roll legend. =P but seriously, playing guitar is so much fun. I know it would be a great outlet for you as well. Well I care simply because they are prominently a metal band. That's what bugs me. I am trying not to judge from one song from the album, but man... just disappointed. I welcome change and evolution, but it doesn't always mean I am going to like it. In this particular case, I don't like it as much as I want to. Opeth is one of my favourite bands of all time... and... well... just sucks that's all. I am still going to get the album, I am still going to see them at shows (Oct 22 baby!) but yeah. Just hope this is a rarer type song from this new album. I like metal... and Opeth does it very well. Yeah I hate those accents as well. lol. Glad you thought it was okay though. Digging around for other stuff. That was f*cking bad ass. I really liked the beat and shit. Sounded cool ^.^

Definitely. And I am really excited to see them live in Oct. ^.^ I am going to try and molest Mikael. It's the accent that gets me. Damn Brits. LOL Yeah some of it is hit or miss but that was really fun. Have I played this for you? Might be a little too industrial for you, but the beat is addictive.

I didn't really mean people, more like regions. There are really different accents all over England. :X I'll check these out too, then. And you can never be 100% sure about my taste, it's too random sometimes.
